I've been feeling a little uninspired lately, especially as this year comes to an end. It's evident that we can't be happy all the time, and that's true for me as well. Maybe it's burn out or maybe it's the Ups and Downs of a creator. This is for those who feel uninspired or unmotivated. The feelings will pass, so just spend time with the ones you love and reflect on all the things you've accomplished thus far. Happy Holidays! This was shot completely on the iPhone so excuse the quality and try and focus on the story and message. It was very scary to share something like this but I'm happy I did. Special thanks to my Mom for being the strongest person I know.

If I’m being honest, I usually don’t chime in via comments. But let me just say something real quick. In your description you say “this was shot on an iPhone so I apologize for the quality.” JR, listen to me man. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now because I’ve been wanting to start make videos within this lane. I’m a writer, and I feel like telling stories visually is the next step. I have a cannon 80D and an EFS 10mm-18mm lens. That’s it. It’s been discouraging because all I’ve been thinking to myself is the following: “How am I supposed to compete in a space where all these wonderful filmmakers are working with, at minimum, a DSLR, at least 3 different lenses, a stabilizer and a drone. There’s no way I can get that kind of quality with what I have.” Do you realize how much hope this video gave me? You made this with a mobile stabilizer and a god damn iPhone and it’s fucking immaculate. This video is on par with nearly every other video you’ve made, and you did it with two fucking pieces of equipment. Please understand how impressive that is. I’m sorry you’ve been feeling down my friend, but I hope that you know you’ve helped at least one person today. Because of you, I’m going to be getting an osmo and working with what I have. If I can make a video half as good as this, I’ll feel accomplished and like I’m finally well on my way to making beautiful visual art. You inspire me JR, and I want to say thank you for that. As creators, we're always gonna have times when we fell lost, uninspired, demotivated, but you just have to think of it like this. Whoah.......This got me very unexpectedly. This is as pure as you can get. Im speechless. I def shed a few and im still speechless as I type... I don't know how to put this into words, cause its visceral. I lost my mom last year and its been hard cause she won't ever get to see my work and I get frustrated, but I keep grinding. I put in no less than 11 hours a day editing and learning as thats been how I cope and you just lifted me up!. I feel she just relayed a message to me thru you and your art.
