At the beginning of this year I was still in film school realizing very quickly that the path wasn't the right one for me. With support from my family, friends and of you amazing people, I dropped out and told myself I'm going to work as hard as I can to make creating videos a full time passion, even without a degree. Sitting here exactly one year later, I can say I never looked back and it's nuts to be able to say I'm so close to doing this full time. I was able to move out aswell which was a huge milestone for me. I want to continue to go on adventures, meet new people and tell stories for those whose stories are not always heard. I'm not taking my foot off the gas pedal. 2018, let's get it.

this isn't just one of those regular my year videos with edm music, no sound design and a bunch of people flashing items and places they have been. This video told a story, of memories locked in time, from a year in which you experienced and felt as if i had actually been a part of what you were doing. The creative ideas and all of these transitions and effects was amazing Jr. This is truly, and I mean TRULY the best video I have ever seen in my LIFE! You are one of the only filmmakers I know who can create a mix of crazy visuals while staying true to his roots and creating a story both meaningful to the viewer and yourself. My mouth still hasn't closed while writing this comment. I am truly blown away by the talent I have just witnessed, you my friend are a artistic genius. This is extremely close if not on par with Sam Kolder's My Year 2016 - however the one department you beat him in is telling a story, this was truly captivating to the eye and mind. And lastly the vfx was out of this world, this must of taken hours and hours of careful masking, cutting, scoping etc, truly unreal on that part. This video did something to me personally aswell, it scared me. It made me think "how can I make it in this industry, there is no way I'm as good as him" But I sat and thought to myself, "I'm not as good... YET" I aspire to be as great as you but at the same time carve my own creative path just like you. Peace out brother

thank you so much bro, this means so much to me. I've learnt something really important over the last few years, its okay to look up to people or admire how far they've come but its great that this video pushes you to do the same or even reach bigger heights. I hate seeing people think they need to be better than others, the only person you should be racing against is yourself, trying to be better than you were the previous day. you definitely deserve more subscribers, your videos are the definition of art, in all honesty I watch your videos everyday, and it inspired me to start filming with my dslr, and to have more patience with editing, and hopefully create content as good as yours, I've always had these ideas for creating films burning in the back of my mind but now watching you videos and seeing your lifestyle at the age of around 20, I'm about to turn 18 and you've inspired me to start saving for travelling, I hope 2018 is huge year of growth for you, your videos are insane.
