Hello LOST Fans!
Welcome to "LOST On The Couch", a weekly (for now...) reaction series to the hit 2004 ABC TV show LOST. I (David) have seen the show 7ish times all the way through and my friends (Audrey, Hassan, and Zola) have never seen it before!
I have always wanted to show my friends the experience that is LOST, so I decided I'd stick a camera in their faces and see what they thought of it! I also, with their permission, want to share it with whoever might be interested in watching it again through their eyes. After all, that is the closest us Losties can ever get to watching it again for the first time. ;)
I'm actually a musician and composer, NOT a video editor, so don't expect too much fancy editing, but I very much enjoy this as a hobby. I'm aware the audio balance is not great for the first few episodes and some of the editing is awkward, but it definitely improves with each episode.
I sincerely hope you all enjoy these as much as I enjoy making them! Reach out to me in the comments if you have any suggestions, hopes, dreams, theories, advice, whatever. But NO SPOILERS!

Thanks so much for watching, everyone! We finished watching Season 1 this week! So that means y’all can comment spoilers up through the end of the first season! Before starting Season 2, we will be filming a Season 1 Q&A to hear their thoughts/theories about the season as a whole. If you have any questions for them about their thoughts on S1, please comment them on this thread and I’ll include what I can in the Q&A! Also, I eventually want to be releasing these twice a week. For the Q&A, some questions could be: - Who is your favorite character? - Who is your least favorite character? - What is your favorite episode in Season 1? - What questions in the show do you want answers to? - What are your predictions for the rest of the show? - Who do you want to know more about? - Do you ship any characters together?

Matthew Fox is the only person I can see play Jack. He's like their Tony Stark. Really the whole cast is amazing! Character-based story telling whose story I'm actually invested in, who'd thought it? I'd be curious to know everyone's favorite character and why?

Which is crazy that it was going to be a Michael Keaton until they changed Jack dying in the pilot.

You guys rock, rewatching this now for the third time! your insight is so much nicer than any other channel on youtube. i like that 1 of you knows literally everything about the show and rest know nothing, makes it easier to fill in the gaps and give context etc.

- I've been looking forward to this all week. These are awesome! - Honestly, Jack has all the skills - "Is anyone going to tell Jack it's not all his job." Even if they did, he wouldn't listen - Remember when we thought Christian Shephard was the worst dad ever? And then we saw Locke's flashbacks - Jack: "I'm not a leader." Everyone else: "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." - I love Audrey's "...what?" after Locke did his whole 'faith speech' - This entire episode is just *cue dramatic music* - "Kick Boone's ass!" HAHAHA - "If we can't live together, we're going to die alone." Followed by the Life and Death theme has always been such a powerful scene to me - Hassan's theories are very interesting - You said you already finished Season 1 with them, which means I can freely say I can't wait to see Hassan's reaction to Boone's death since he apparently hates him (I don't blame him though, I don't really like Boone either)

Why isn't he in the coffin ? _ maybe the undertakers made a mistake and placed an empty coffin on the plane _ maybe Jack's father was in the coffin which was not locked and during the fall the coffin opened up, the corpse came out and fell elsewhere on the island _ maybe the father resurrected on the island as Locke regained the use of his legs. These are the three possibilities that I had found my first viewing. Since then, I know but like Locke, I say nothing. 😊

7:58 Ha - I never noticed but when Jack is hanging off edge of the cliff it DOES look like there's a dried up river bed beneath him, which would imply there is fresh water on the island. You'd think Jack would have tried to follow the riverbed to try to find the source of the water.

BUT the river was like 50m below, everything is very far from the beach! It's obvious that there is water on a big island in the pacific, the problem is: there's any at a convenient distance?

@@davidnaffie .... I've been binge watching your reactions today, I'm currently on season 1 episode 15. This is the third channel reaction to lost I have going right now, the other two being Rob & Tin react and Neil Talks. Plus, I'm on my seventh viewing of the show from my bluray collection. I'm in LOST overdose mode right now.
