Elizabeth and Michael deserved an Emmy for this scene alone. They are both amazing actors and the main reason why I really started to get into the show in season 3. I'm still pissed off at the Emmy commitee that they snubbed her.

I just wish Ben would have put his arms around Juliet, it would have been nice to see Ben actually have some sort of physical contact. He had the perfect opportunity! I LOVE Michael Emerson, he is a brilliant acto!

Thank God for those two great actors on Lost.Elizabeth Mitchell did a brilliant job in this scene.She displays surprise,anger and sadness in the same scene and all very intensively.This scene makes her act out many emotions in rapid succession and from a wide spectrum.She deserves an Emmy.

This scene is arguably one of the "top 5" best acted scenes in all 6 seasons of the show. She scared me the first time I saw this when she smacks the glass out of his hand. I wasn't expecting that from such a mild mannered doctor.... I don't think Ben was expecting that from her either lol.

How could I resist... Ben is so powerful, dark and evil but he is so cute, irresistible anyway, this series was so great, great cast, great landscapes, wonderful everything!! Ben is my only sunbeam in my boring life (and Harold Finch too) 😅 this series is my daydream, an adventure on an island 💜

I love Juliet and Elizabeth Mitchell, the actress. But I think Elizabeth is a perfect Juliet instead of a perfect actress. This scene is awesome though.

I remember being drunk as fuck and keep repeating the scene in 1:28 while dying of laughter. The way he says "I don't know!" and the way she throws his glass 😂

One of my absolute favorite Lost moments. Juliet is so together and calm all the time. Here she's not and I LOVE that. (And I'm not even that fond of Juliet - However, Elizabeth is a great actress.)

anyone who says elizabeth mitchell is a sucky actress needs to watch this NOW! she is fantastic in lost. don't judge her from v! the writing doesn't have enough depth for her to perform from, gah! I love lost and after tonight its allllll overrrr :'(

It could be that Ben told Juliet her sister's cancer returned in order to manipulate her into staying on the island. Ben was manipulative and lied a lot. It's possible that Jacob never cured Rachel because there was never a reoccurance of cancer to begin with and she was healthy the entire time. Just a theory...

He should have hugged her when she needed it. She was left to cry alone. Friends need to cry in other friends' arms. Ben was heartless, and paid the price.

I think if it hadn't been for both Juliet and Ben, two of my favourite characters, I had stopped watching "Lost" instead of watching one of the best series ever until the end. Thankfully althouth both Elizabeth and Michael were going to be there for some episodes, they stayed a lot.

I think this fertility thing is important and Ben knows that. Juliet is not suppose to leave. She has not completed her end of the deal. Ben did. Or shall I say Jacob?

I think Ben is more shocked and afraid that his beliefs in Jacob have been disputed although it's possible that Sayyid's bullet which could have contained carcinogens was the exception to the rule.

I have only just started watching lost and I'm still on season 1. But I have heard alot of good things about juliet, is she a badass character? From this clip alone I have already started to warm to her character. Can anyone describe her character to me?

Ben Moreton for first stop spoiler all the serie. Im telling that for experience because if you that you arent going to enjoy at all. (I spoiler the season 4 to the last) and in my opinion that was the worst decision i had. Well coming back with Juliet, she is a strong character and you are going to watch it. This is only one of the few scenes she looked so weak and vulnerable and thats for the feelings she had knowing some lies.. Actually she is one of the strongest characters very intelligent.

I don't think Ben thought he lied to Juliet about her sister. He really thought he could cure her cancer. He had no idea that he really couldn't and that he would get a tumor as well. He doesn't look as if he's faking this one or lying.

My theory is that IF Ben could let her off the island he would but look in his eyes something tells me he knows this is impossible. Was she not suppose to leave just like the oceanic six were not "suppose" to leave? Just my thoughts.

I always found Juliet's resemblance to Katherine Kelly Lang distracting. In all her scenes, I'd catch myself thinking 'there goes Brooke weeping again!' The blond soap opera hair on an island didn't help. 😁

Unfortunately not. She will have to submit a new episode from season 4 next year but I think it's rather questionable that she will get as good material to work with as she did in season 3. Even if she does get good material, I just don't see her getting nominated because of the stupid popularity vote. Popularity seems to be more important than talent when it comes to award shows and judging from the GG and SAG nominations, it looks like Lost is slowly falling of the radar.
