My daughter passed away come Thursday four weeks. She battled leukemia and a infection that won. She loved Linkin Park like me. This is the first time I have listened to music since she passed. She was 16. Hopefully Chester is singing to her.

Just when I think I've been blown away enough by Lost... they go and release a better version! LP 15 years later is still helping me with anxiety and depression, causing me the same comforting effect. How I wish Chester had found peace in life and was still with us. 🇧🇷❤

Amen ❤ It's amazing how when I need them the most... They show up with NEW music and catch me as I'm falling. They feel majestic, like Chester sent a special gift from heaven. Chester's voice has almost become the only voice of reason for me after all these years.

Thank you all for everything🙏 I'm turning 24 this year. I was 4 when I first listened to the song numb, that was 2003. I didn't know the meaning behind the lyrics then but I had to endure a lot of hardships since I was little. When I first noticed what the meaning of all the lyrics were, was the moment I knew I'm not alone Linkin Park became my daily doze of antidepressants. And when Chester lost his fight, it felt like I lost so much meaning in my life. But u guys kept on going and so did I. I wouldn't have made it this far without u❤

Like Lost instantly teleported me to my room in 2003 where I was listening to Meteora with my brother for the first time, and my head was literally blown away by that music, that this version brings me back to the moment my colleague from my primary school gave me CD with Reanimation track on it and it was such a moment, to discover these HT songs again, well damn. Time flies 🥲

I already couldn't even believe I just got a new song, let alone that it was followed by a bunch of others on a deluxe Meteora anniversary re-release. But getting an ethereal remix of that single released that sounds like it came straight off the Reanimation album was definitely not on my bingo board this month. I'm floored, I love this so much.

Same way Grey Daze is doing it, they have tons of recordings from the 90’s to bring to the newest technology and remaster them. But they also brought in his son to record some vocals and it sounds just like Chester. Maybe LP might’ve done the same? 🤷♂️

The PLZ version totally captures the nostalgia of having LP in our lives as teens. The perfect isolated vocals of Chester. The creative formula of giving each instrument a moment to build up. The background whispers of Shinoda. Subtle background tones during the crescendo after 2:12. Reminds me of past days when everyone was making anime music videos and LP was the go-to band.

you didn't miss it. this was one of MANY "unfinished" or "unreleased " songs that they have.. when they make albums there isa LOT that never comes out that they leave behind for either another album or a re-release or remix. this song onyl came out this year for the 20th annviersary of the meteora album.
