Robert Shrewsbury April 6, 2017 “Brewer Cave” of Giants. Isaac Morley was an important and well respected person in the early Utah L.D.S. (Mormon) Church here in Manti, Utah as was my Great, Great Grandfather Artemus Millet, a Master Stonemason and Architect who built some of the first Mormon Temples, including the Manti Temple here. Both Morely and Millet lived in Manti, Utah where I am living. Isaac Morley knew where a lot of ancient burials were and some of this info has been passed down (word of mouth) to me, from some of my relatives and other old timers. Brigham Young, a church leader, wrote a mandate forbidding church members from tampering with these ancient burials, when farmers and ranchers began to run across artifacts. Members were told to bury them back up. Most of the L.D.S people were obedient to their Church leaders on this, therefore burials are still mostly preserved. Isaac Morley was commissioned by Church President Brigham to work with the Ute Chief Walkara (Walker) and this was agreeable to Chief Walker. Morley was subsequently taken into the mountains to an ancient gold mine/vault that had vast amounts of gold bars and gold veins in it and was allowed to transport some of the gold back for the L.D.S Church. He made many such trips doing this work in his lifetime, which was a real blessing to the dirt-poor Mormon people at the time. This also gave the church a very good economic start for the Territory, for growth and expansion. Access to the mine/vault was later lost. As I see it, some of this bar gold and other gold was located, reformed and reburied earlier by the Spanish - and before the Spanish - funeral histories and placements were in burials of the ancient races of Giants and other peoples that lived here before. Although the Spanish did mine some, the Giants community burials were exploited or robbed for the majority of the gold by the "Johnny come lately" Spanish, until the Spanish were finally driven out by Amerindian peoples in about 1680! When Morely became too old and weak to continue the gold transport, the commission was given to Thomas Rhodes and later this gold mine/vault or depository became known as the famous "Rhodes Mine", however it is now become a Lost Mine. Morley also knew where most of the many ancient burials sites were, here in Sanpete County, Utah and said so. I also use a mini-water-well driller that is capable of drilling a 1.25 inch hole approximately 200 feet deep, although I have never drilled this deep. I think we are allowed to drill up to 40 feet without a permit. Plumbers, well drillers and myself, etc. use a small lipstick camera or similar equipment to look at the contents of tunnels, pipes, drains. What Isaac Morley said about the many ancient burials here is so very true and I have used my equipment and skills to see this for myself. From Mount Pleasant, Utah (East side) all the way to Mayfield Utah (Some 33 miles distance) the underground area is packed with ancient burials as well as (West side of the valley) from Fountain Green to Fayette, Utah (Some 35 miles distance). I have also talked to various well drillers who admit that they sometimes drill to and pass through tunnels. The drill will be going through earth and then suddenly drop through a space, until it reaches earth again. My Uncle Wayne was a water-well-driller. He once was drilling a well and said by phenomena, he drilled a well to a tunnel, went through the tunnel and in the process snagged a small piece of gold on the floor, that got stuck on the drill head. Although chewed by the bit, it was a solid piece of worked gold, from an artifact. Most of the entrances to these ancient burials/sepulchers are at the bottom or foothills of mountains and erosion has covered them under 30, 40 to 60 feet of soil. From my experienced analysis, I would say that 98% of the caves and tunnels (in Utah and other places) are covered over by erosion. The burials are known for developing large amounts of radon and other dangerous gases and if closed, should be considered unsafe until aired-out. People have reportedly collapsed and died from exposure. A man in the east lost all his friends and nearly his own life, in just a matter of a few days. The "Brewer Cave", actually a sepulcher tunnel, has many other sepulcher tunnels running parallel with it, about every hundred feet or so. The vertical shaft in the Brewer Find (which leads to other lower burials) filled-up with water, to the top of the shaft, when they increased the water volume capacity in created Palisade Lake (near Sterling, Utah) for irrigation, but now I suspect that even the "Brewer Cave" is filled up to above the shaft with water during some parts of the year, when the water levels are up very high. When the lake is full, and in times of unusually wet weather, some of the surrounding farms have patches of water coming up and out of the ground and mini swamps because of this lakes under-leakage. Who are these strange ancient peoples (here in Utah) that were good metallurgists and craftsmen with a written language? Some of them, from Johnson Canyon, were white-skinned with blond and red hair and only 6 feet tall. Others found, were larger and of dark skin color in Johnson Canyon. Skeletons found in Utah have been up to fourteen feet tall! There are rumors of taller Giants, but I have not personally seen them. Sincerely, Robert
