I think Frank's immediate realization and acceptance of what's going to happen is one of my favourite tiny moments in the series. I don't know why, he's a fairly minor character, but he's great.

A week ago I didn't know I would be doing a complete re-watch of "Lost" in the middle of trying to keep up with everything else. It's so weird how twelve years have passed since I was watching the new episodes on ABC's website. The show was filmed in Hawaii, every bit of it (except the scene in London with Sun and Widmore and the scene in Los Angeles with Jack and Kate revealing the flash forward). That includes all the flashback scenes that were shot on locations standing in for every part of the world. I was about to go on a trip to Hawaii in 2010 and knowing the show was being made there added some mystique to it all, but I didn't go.

I believe that was Jins first experience with the time jumps as it appeared he was in and out of consciousness while floating in the water before the Frenchies found him..

@@chanceneck8072 you mean The Theory of Everything video? Isn't that just a combination of all of the previous 30 videos? I never watched it because I was watching them as they posted the previous ones and assumed I'd seen all that content. Most of them run about 5 minutes to 30 minutes each so they are short enough to do a few episodes at a time.

Yeah, I think she doesn't really trust the show to explain what's going on. Maybe because she heard people complain about the ending, I don't know. But not knowing what's going on is kind of the way this show works. They keep things hidden to make you intrigued and to deliver incredible twists when you don't expect them. But it's not like they're just throwing stuff at the wall, it's all pretty well-connected. It's a bit sad that she's so dismissive, she'd get a lot more out of the show if she engaged with the mysteries and the themes that Lost plays with. She seems to think it's all just random.

I forget the characters name but the actress Rebecca Mader was excellent as the wicked witch in Once Upon A Time. I recommend yall watching that. 7 seasons of great tv! Also Emilie De Raven who plays Claire plays Belle on Once Upon as well!

Sun loves Ji-Yeon and Jin, Jin loves Sun and Ji-Yeon. Jin doesn’t want Sun to come back because he thinks the island isn’t safe for her. Sun thinks Jin isn’t safe on the island but she knows that Ji-Yeon is safe in South Korea. All is a question of love and safety for Jin and Sun. And Jin is the only one between the three people of their family who needs to be saved. So that’s why Sun comes back. Congratulation. Rarely have I seen a child who obeys his mother so easily when she tells him to go to bed. But Mrs knows how to press the right button, apparently.😁

All that is true, but I'm not sure that many mothers would go off to save their partner if there was a chance they might never come back and their child would then be parentless. I definitely wouldn't. Most mothers love their child more than anyone and they are always the first priority.

If Locke had originally pushed that wheel in the Season Four finale, I believe that the other survivors left behind would have experienced the time skips anyway. Why was Sun willing to work with Charles Widmore to kill Ben, when he was the one responsible for sending a monster like Martin Keamy to the island with orders to kidnap Ben and kill everyone else? By the way, is it possible that Kate had FINALLY returned Aaron to Carole Littleton, as she should have done in the first place? Personally, I don't give too shits about Kate's "heartbreak". She brought this situation on herself by instigating the lie about her and Aaron in the first place.

If you ask why Rousseau doesnt remember Jin: 1) She is crazy Or 2) When she met the survivors, there were a lot of people and maybe she didnt see him. Many of these time Jin wasnt there (when they and Rousseau went to the radio tower and Jin was with Sayid and Bernard to make explode the Others; when the group divided after the Charlie's death, Rousseau was with Locke and Jin was with Jack; At the end of season first Rousseau arrived at the camp, Jin was there but later he sailed with the raft and Rousseau went to the Black rock with the group...) O maybe both 1 and 2

If anyone is "crazy" its Jack. No sane individual could be stranded on that island for 108 days and NOT realize thats its special. And while its partially understandable that Jack doesn't see his purpose for going back, its impossible for the audience to deny that Locke has been granted a "miracle" (whatever that means). And lastly, if you are 1 of the Oceanic 6 and you have lied about what happened to everyone left behind the ONLY right thing to do is to go back. With the exceptions of Sun and Aaron

I've been Rowing most every day since January and I've lost over 15lbs since I started. Also eating less sugar. I still have a bowl of popcorn here and there but I mostly stopped eating Popcorn during our viewings because I'm sitting closer to the Mrs and she has a thing for hearing chewing... haha

Yes! I was hoping you would have added the Mrs mentioning the shoes. That’s one of the oddest things I remember about watching the first time as well. I had the same “aha” moment when this episode aired. Good edit sir. Also, to answer that loaded question… It would depend on a few things. 1: If there was someone to watch over my child. 2: If I had a loved one I knew was still in the island. And 3: If I knew we could all return from the island safely. As for Sun, she was trusting Ben (of all people) that Jin was still alive and leaving her daughter. So I didn’t like that decision at all.

Season 5 is probably my least favourite. It's an interesting story but I really loved the original cast on the island, just surviving and solving the mystery in S1-3
