I hope the Hero Factoy development reveals hype up Meso to finally do those HF set reviews. The man has been a legend, keeping this entire group upfloat, it means a lot.

TTV walked so Duckbricks could run. At least when it comes to the Bionicle part

I've been a Bionicle fan for my entire life, I was born around the same time the original Toa Nuva sets came out and built and read Bionicle as early as 2007-2008. I haven't watched Duckbricks' videos yet, but I can't wait! Just before G2 started, I learned about TTV. I've been watching you guys on and off the last decade or so. I'm really glad that you and Eljay are all doing well, Meso! Congrats on getting close to your senior year of college! I'm actually in my own senior year right now and I'm gonna graduate in May. I can only say this: keep up with your studies and don't procrastinate too much, but also don't be afraid to take a break now and then if you need to, it can be really necessary. But I didn't realize I was only a few years younger than Mesonak, that's kinda crazy to me. Actually, I think life is crazy regardless of what you do. I wish you the best of luck, Meso! I hope things get less crazy for everyone on the old TTV/now Keep the Piece team soon.

TTV’s slumber is over! The legendary channel has risen again. DuckBricks is going from strength to strength right now and is really pushing BIONICLE back out there into the public focus this year. I really hope the DuckBricks/Copenhagen Rig collaboration continues so we can uncover the secrets of the legend of BIONICLE. This is the way of the BIONICLE.

Meso, I can completely understand the burnout and real life concerns you all are facing. It is certainly a real and stressful part of life. It can be exhausting to have to maintain the level of content you all did over the years, and we all appreciate the work you all did. Much like a weary warrior, or a runner at the end of a race, you all deserve a rest. When I was younger, I thought that LEGO had betrayed us Bionicle fans by canceling it when it seemed so premature. As I have grown up however, I understood more and more that we had discovered the legend, we had explored all the mysteries, conquered foreign lands. There was not much left to go on for the main storyline, we had awoken Mata Nui, defeated Makuta, and reunited Spherus Magna. Much like any story, Bionicle had a beginning, a middle and an end. Reading a book is a lot less fun when you know the ending. That is what made Bionicle intriguing, the mystery! I felt that once We found the great spirit was a giant robot it put a damper on the creativity they could do with the universe. I liked when we went to Bara Magna, It was a strange new place with different people and customs! It was like being back on Mata Nui again! It is only a shame that we got so few amounts of story beats about Bara Magna, I would've liked to see the story of the great beings, and the core wars, but alas, it was not in the cards. Feel no shame in being absent from the community! Every generation has their version of Bionicle, Be they those of us who grew us on the Island of Mata Nui, or discovering the powers of Spinjuitsu. What I am trying to say is this: Thank you, for being apart of a team that kept a community alive, long after LEGO pulled the plug. Thank you for being the guiding light in the sea of complications that is this franchise. We all understand that it was hard work, and we thank you all for it. Through your Unity, you did your Duty, and achieved your Destiny, just as The Great Beings told us! Rest now, weary warrior, and allow us to carry your torch into the the future, may the legacy of TTV never be forgotten, as we shall never forget it, as you never forgot us. It's always so great to see an upload from y'all. It's so weird seeing everyone growing up, including myself. Everyone is charting their paths, and it's really wonderful to see Bionicle is still going to be a part of that. I don't directly engage with comments often, but I've been focusing on becoming a comic artist, and I hope to never lose touch with this community. I recently met one of the Bionicle comic artists at NYCC and it was a dream come true!

I didn’t even catch this from the algorithm, I just thought of the channel out of the blue and sure enough there was a new video today for the first time in months. Nice.

I was also, and still am, a huge fan of Hero Factory. Though it was underdeveloped, it's lore was largely interesting and I felt like under the right team it could have been majorly successful, even in the shadow of Bionicle. I absolutely loved the story HF was trying to tell, the books being my favorite HF media. I really hope they explore this concept in the future, of combining the themes into a "multiverse of madness" sort of theme.

In regards to the second half of your video, the YT grind is super hard to manage when you're an adult. I definitely did the bulk of my video making in college. You just gotta wait it out, if you're passionate you will eventually find the time again. Personally, I've been on an extended hiatus due to some pretty life-ruining medical issues, but if I'm ever able to return to video making I'll do it in a heartbeat. You and Eljay both stuck with it this long that I don't doubt at all that one day you will return. Wishing you guys the best!

My life is also starting to ramp up, so I really understand putting time into more serious things over plastic toys. I also think that the Bionicle fandom is just ready to make new memories. Every single aspect of G1 and G2 has been talked about to death, and Christian Faber has shared almost every Bionicle secret recently. Besides what little fan projects remain (like the awesome mask of power game) It just feels like there isn't a lot to discover with Bionicle anymore. LEGO is doing more licensed themes than ever, so it feels like G3 will never happen even with the 2024/2025 rumors. Maybe I am being pessimistic, but it seems like Bionicle is ready to be put to bed until something huge happens. Am I wrong?At least we still have friends, memories and badass figures collecting dust.

It’s sad that ttv has been slowing down with content but I get it and I still care and will continue caring. This channel is so much fun and I’m ready for any new content absolutely whenever.

I'm a few months away from 30 and there's still plenty of chaos in life. Dealing with those early years of true adulthood is always stressful and exhausting so wishing you all the best. I'm not a regular here. Just the right age to have played with Bionicle since the first sets came out. I never got as familiar with the community here (I'm busy myself) but if there's a cool video I'll be checking it out.

Darn, 20th anniversary of MoL? I remember when you did the videos on 10th anniversaries of the trilogy. Made me feel old, but also realize for how long I was enjoying your content. Being a senior year in college myself I totally get lack of motivation to create content of any kind, but as you said, you still have the spark. That's why it's still always so entertaining to stay for the rambling. Hope the situation gets better, especially for Eljay!

I've been around since the early recap reviews and in the 10+ years since then and especially since the end of G2, I can truly say that being a Bionicle fan can be exhausting. As much as the passion of fan analysis and fan projects has been inspiring and enjoyable to watch, it has all been done, we have exhausted basically every corner of the legend as it stands now. Watching some fans be so bitter about the "what ifs" surrounding the dormancy of the franchise has been draining, so I have let go of some of my strong emotions about the state of things in recent years (particularly after The Legend of the Bionicle fan project from Sokoda fell short). I finished my complete G1 collection in 2021 and as of this summer, I had to put it into storage for a move. In going through that lengthy process, I have come to realization that the reality is that Bionicle stands tall to me for its memories and the joy it brought to me in so many different phases of my life, but it doesn't have much more to give at this point in its current form in my personal opinion, and that's okay. There is a ton of dignity in a legacy like that. I am nearing graduating university for the second time and embarking on starting a proper career. Life is different these days as we have all moved in our own separate yet distinct directions, but I will forever be proud to always be linked back to you guys and this community whenever I am reminded of my upbringing. Also, I wanted to give a quick expression of gratitude to Meso and the TTV crew for the amount of dedication they have displayed over the years for something that may have been easy for many to forget, I am grateful to you guys for keeping the spark ignited for a franchise I truly love.

I can finally crossplay/moc my Hero Factory & Bionicle even more, and it's canon lol. Happiest day of my life🤣
