I wanted ETH to work out but it hasn't. This squad needs a massive overhaul but so does the coaching. We don't even have a go at top teams anymore. Klopp could be down 8 men, he'll still go after a team like city. We look like league one sides against anyone decent in possession

@@degeautdfanfirst Those kids would have 9-11 years old when Klopp came in. For 8 years, Klopp’s style of play has been imprinted not just in the first team but the youth team. Therefore integrating them will be a lot easier. In addition Klopp is also winning things meaning there is less pressure on those players.

United didn't give up chances but they did just give the ball away through bad passing or poor ball control. And then there was no fight to win the ball back. They waited until Everton lost the ball and then repeated this pattern of sloppy giveaways. Against a team that can finish their chances, United would've lost.

Ben's spot on about the shots conceded stat. 90% of those shots are potshots from outside the box, blocked by defenders, or straight at Onana. The stat can be used to make the point that the system is allowing shots (we all know this and know why), but it's a rather meaningless stat. It's like how last year when we played Arsenal, the stat that the media ran with was Arsenal's 65+ touches in the opposition box. Nothing came from those touches in the box, but it looks bad for United so plaster it everywhere! So many stats are relatively worthless but you've got Sofascore pundits telling you that they mean everything.

Rashford and Bruno are precisely at the level of their ability! There's no footballing genius slumbering away just waiting to be re-awakened, they are over-rated players. In Rashford's case his only 'skill' is being able to run quickly (although that's slowing up) in a straight-line, with a few scratchy goals now and again. His lack of close-ball control, dire heading, inept tackling, or capacity to dribble have been evident from the start, as has an indifferent attitude.
