I love that black thrifted dress. I hate when it’s hot and there is any humidity. I can deal with dry heat (even though people complain about it so much, but I grew up in LaQuinta/Indio area so I love it).

The London shirt with a hole .... I was actually, coincidentally on vacation in London and found I had a hole in a top. I went to a little fabric shop and bought a bunch of buttons in various sizes and sewed them over the hole(s) as a "feature." Sort of a "cascade" of buttons (for your top I'd probably use black) or a pattern that looks good to you - I find irregular placement looks best and clustering them (somewhat) is the key. You can TOTALLY rehab thrifted clothing and I always feel good about making something I thrifted and got a deal on look better and be more functional! My top was kind of a knit fabric, so you might not have to (but I would) so I "mended" the hole(s) first with just thread and sewed the button on top.
