It's funny cause I was thinking not too long ago what would a real professional/expert Craftsman look like repairing an old slip joint, Now I have seen it. I truly enjoyed watching you work and look forward look forward to future videos. I also now understand the slip showing much better. Thanks again

Great job on the restoration! I gotta say, though, were it I doing it I definitely would not have scraped off the original letters. Even if they were worn they were a solid connection to the ship and it's history. Other than that, well done!

I have a bad habit of keeping thing for a long time, I still have a CASE XX Knife, yellow trapper 2 blade, That i have NEVER away from my pocket for 18 and 1/2 years now! I had 2 blades made for it. .....I still have a Takamine Guitars i had made in 1979 and it plays and sounds just as good as it did brand new! .............If you ever have a knife that the blades are stuck and can't open this is one great way to open it >>>> Take a shoe string.... wrape around the knife ......Holding some of the shoe string in your hand and the knife in same hand with thumb ( out side in grass ) throw the knife hard at the grass so it will spin on the way down...... The blades will fly open!!....
