Those handles remind me of Hasbrouck sort of. I used to work on yachts and we would get clients from Holland and Denmark and they would eat their fries and hash brown with mayonnaise. It was so disgusting but is common there. That's what that reminded me of, hasbrowns covered in mayo. They woukd then apply pepper or bell pepper flakes sometimes. Different folks

I don't think it was a BB gun they were using in the blade, but nails. My family in West Virginia all carry Bowie and camp knives, they use the thick blade as like a flat hammer to pound nails back into fence posts. Damages the blades, but they regrind them constantly and the metal is so thick. That could also maybe the pits.

Sorry to say, this is a Micky Mouse restoration, compared to one's I've seen. Call it a cleanup, ok. Top rated restorers go above and beyond. You didn't.

This restoration was very personal for me. That was my first sheath Knife. I got it at a Christmas party in the late 80's. Washington State U.S.A . I carry a Smith and Wesson 9" boot knife now.

While I don't like that almost everyone "Blues" their knife blades, I understand Why they do. but there is just one last thing you need before you take in the forces of evil, a sheath for that incredible knife.

These ones were I think actually made post-Rambo to market the "cool survival knife" to Americans. But they were based on the WWII+ era jet pilot survival knives which were constructed sort of similarly.

The sludge drink was stupid and dangerous, now some kid watching this will try it because the guy on you tube did it!

How does a stainless steel knife rust?

It's still bragging to say you have Einstein's muscles and rambos brains. I'd love to be as weak as Einstein and as brain=no as Rambo.

Such a metal connection cannot be strong. It would be better to weld on the stud and assemble the handle.

Those screw heads are what is called a Clutch Bit screw. They were an early attempt at a security screw, but like you did, obviously grinding down any basic flathead screwdriver isn't very "Secure". Either way, you can still buy those bits fairly easily.

So here is what this would have been used for its to stop the flow of water from a live line already connected to a pumper truck or a fire hydrant so a new line could be added or changed quickly without shutting down the whole system allowing lines to be connected to reach farther faster once the new line was attached the water would flow as fast as the clamp was released thus saving time and possibility lives or total loss of a building

For those who asking how a stainless steel like this rusts : Even the most stainless steels are rust when they contact sea water or acid guys .
@spacelordvking80008 күн бұрын
