My mother's family was Sicilian and wanted a brown eyed, olive skinned baby. The rest of us were looked down on a bit because we were very celtic looking - very fair with light eyes and no features like her side of the family. It is what it is. No one meant to be cruel.

Edward was already the Duke of Windsor before marriage and Wallis became the Duchess of Windsor when they married, they were never Cambridge’s.

It is true- seems she wanted the prestige of sleeping with him but never wanted to marry him. Wallace never struck me as the nicest person in the world, but I never thought she really deserved the corner she was forced into.
