That was actually 006 being traumatised by Xenia's death by helicopter and his own fall, caused by an occupied helicopter that disctracted him.

I have flown in a helicopter once it was cool, so if I was an actor I'd rather go in a helicopter rather than climbing a mountain for TWO HOURS. Besides, it's different to look out at the view while flying a helicopter.
