Kudos Dudes!!! Sounds just like Rush live in the 70s

These guys are probably the best Rush tribute band out there because they all have the musical talent and money to pull it off. It's virtually impossible to find a bass player/keyboardist that can sing like a moe foe but this guy does a a real good job. They all are really good.

Not to take away from these guys, but before you use the "greatest" word, check out "Rush Tribute Project" out of Wisconsin. They are also top notch; 3 out of 3. Easy to find on KZfaq.

Aaron Johnson I've seen a few videos by the Rush Tribute Project. They do a good job but it seems forced. The vocals are decent but compared to this guy the high notes don't come off as effortlessly. Most tribute bands have 1 or 2 decent musicians but these guys are all talented and they must have really good jobs because they have professional grade equipment. High quality equipment doesn't make a musician but it makes a good musician sound better.

As a Canadian who grew up watching and listening to RUSH, you guys do a remarkable job re-creating the magic! Keep the music going!

This is just sick !!! Best Rush Trib out there period. And throwing in Roundabout is the cherry on top....sweet lord you guys are fantastic!!!! That drum solo at the end is brilliant as well, just brilliant

A touch of the drum solo at the end and finishing off with some Cygnus was great in addition to the forays into Helping Flight and Roundabout.

Saw their live show.........Amazing. Best Rush tribute band
@davidsmith18987 жыл бұрын
Saw these guys at RushCon in Toronto a few years back....incredible is the only word to describe them. Hard gig playing to a room full of people insane enough to attend a Rush convention. The next day tried to convince the bass player to wear a Geddy wig when playing...LOL.

The best Rush cover band in the Galaxy......

I know this guy can give more than he just did in this video vocals. It's great. This is real musicians when you make the song yours. You don't need to make everything as the same as Rush album. Make your own frases, tones, and feeling.

As a RUSH fan since the late 1970s I have seen a lot of tribute bands and this is the closest I have heard to the voice of Geddy Lee and musically these guys are so tight its a pleasure to listen to them

This drummer is better than John Rutsey (original Rush drummer for the first album only).

Is it just me or does the drummer bear a passing resemblance to Alex Lifeson? Funny how that worked out.

Rush did write a song on the Caress of Steel album called “I think I’m going Bald” I can see why you guys didn’t call yourself BRush. All joking aside though, when you can close your eyes and not tell it’s a cover band playing, you have served your purpose. Best Rush Cover band I’ve ever heard
@johnanderson94946 жыл бұрын
The bass player gave me some free tickets but took them back after I told him he looks like Geddy.

Awesome! If you liked this, you might like this version too by Vintage Flight - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/irukicyeude6iJ8.html. Their equipment isn't nearly as fancy, and they're not a rush tribute band, but they love Rush, and always end all of their shows with Working Man. Avalon, their vocalist just turned 14 in this video.
@Nickpaintbrush6 жыл бұрын
Vintage flight..brilliant mate!
@mikeksiazek7 жыл бұрын
hope the real rush doesnt get offended but that was better singing than geddy. bravo overall. bravo over all. just relax a little and enjoy yourselves in YOUR way. 😊
@Whovian10296 жыл бұрын
Yeah, even Geddy can't sing like that anymore at all
@jaguarblack50516 жыл бұрын
The guitar solo and the sound seems a little off on this song.

@cheezhead60075 жыл бұрын
Good musicians but if that guitar solo was supposed to be working man it was rubbish
@itcomesback5 жыл бұрын
I think it was meant to be an "inspired by" solo. Working Man is their jam song (and usually their closer) - thus the inclusion of "Roundabout" and snippets of "Headlong Flight". I wouldn't take it too seriously. =]
@srh3615 жыл бұрын
Despite all the other comments I just don't see/hear it. Yes they're good musicians but sound NOTHING like RUSH imo. Vocals are way off,guitar is way too distorted. They do a great job but I don't see them being a tribute band.
@RogueReplicant4 жыл бұрын
Well, that was pretty awful. Great effort, lots of room for improvement
