Lou Rawls had the talent of making one feel what he sang. His voice is excellent, and transmits feeling. Great singer really who did not need any gimmicks to make him sound well.

This was my Dads favorite song it was a song how he felt about my mother whom he loved dearly, the guys where my parents met life time friends from summer camping down the jersey shore used to bust his chops, everytime I hear it I turned up and think of my parents

Lou Rawls - When Music was Music, Singers were singers and not a bunch of computer clicks !!! Back than you had to be a singer and there were no any microphone effects to change the voice. Lou Rawls was the MAN !!!!!!
