And it's happened again - you and I have uploaded a video of the same level crossing only a few days apart 😂😂😂 I absolutely love the sound of these alarms - you can't go wrong with the old YO5 'beep-beep' tones with an alarm - more what an alarm should sound like IMO. Let's just say that this is not the place for people who are not fond of level crossing alarms 😂 A stunning video nonetheless - nice catch of the 321s 😁😁

Thanks! 😁 Yeah it appears I have 😂 The alarms are indeed really loud here, which is quite a change as most crossings have alarms nowheres near this loud.

@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Exactly. The only others I have come across as loud as this are Sudbrook, Stallington Road, St Andrews Junction, and Gomshall when it had the two YO5s

First of all, I saw you jump at 00:07. Not surprised 😁. These alarms are indeed loud! Not the best place to live close to if you aren't fond of crossings. Nice catch of the different paintjob class 321's. Great vid. 👌

Thanks! 😁 I jumped even more when I filmed the first video, these alarms are very loud, some of the loudest I've filmed in a while. There's houses nearby so they must be used to the noise.

Yeah I did. This was the second video I filmed. I jumped out my skin on the first video as it was much louder than I expected it to be 😄

Now this volume level in America is the requirement. You should hear the bells or in this case, alarms from inside your car with the windows rolled up

These alarms at this crossing are definitely louder than average. It's not common you get alarms this loud. In rural locations, where no-one will be disturbed, it would probably be reasonable to have alarms this loud.

UK Level Crossings Channel that’s fair but if it’s a ped crossing, it’ll be blaring in your face
