The court hasn’t. The prosecution hasn’t. The news networks do because it makes more sensationalized headlines. This has been a thing throughout history going back to the beginning of language. You should know and understand this, that’s why you got to use critical thinking. That said the evidence is a hush money deal disguised to influence an election. Because they had to halt investigations while Trump was in office and then had to pick up where they left off when he got voted out. Investigations take time. Collecting evidence and talking to various witnesses takes time. Getting the evidence organized and filed for court takes time. Arranging court dates takes time. They are not the only cases these guys have to juggle so yea, it all takes time. When you also consider that Trump seems to be particularly good at throwing around delay tactics to the process, it's gonna take more time. These things do not happen all at once in a split second.
