I see a lot of people complaining about the rev limit. The car is getting cams and a tune soon. This was to first experience the car before it gets powers so the power doesn’t corrupt the rest of the car. I’m excited because the car should be ready pretty soon actually. Again guys, I can’t go driving like I stole the car. Hope to see a lot of you in the update video.

This motor was recently built and is still very new hence the rev limit. Cams bigger injectors exhaust and afew other performance mods are still to follow. Everything takes time, niyaaz does great work and i appreciate him coming out to do a feature on this car.

And this too, you have to wear in the engine, otherwise you just wasted thousands of dollars by getting a rebuild done, where you'll have to redo the rebuild because nothing got worn in and you decided to put your foot down.

A superboss, should be restored to original and stored away in a garage, only to be taken out on Sunday for a wash and polish and put back in the garage, it's a South African treasure and they getting rare and they appreciating big time.

Very nice! Opel has made many mistakes after the year 2000 and one of them was discontinuing the GSI and The SB models. Yes the OPC, with it's new flavour changed the game, but looking at it today, doesn't make people talk about it they way they used to....no wait, the way they ARE talking about the GSI and SB today even. Another thing, slapping a GSI badge on a car that makes sales for the brand, shouldn't be a thing to do - doesn't make much sense. With that said I am still an Opel lover and for now my little 1.0T Cosmo Corsa, is not going anywhere until the new Corsa comes! 🙂 Thanks for this feature! Hope to see a TS soon.

Looking forward to the follow up on this car. A feature on a stock standard Superboss would be great. I know there's a few lurking around here in cpt. The Franschoek pass will definitely let you feel that racing heritage the Supie has to offer. My idea of heaven. Keep up the good work👌

Take nothing away from this car it looks like an amazing build in the making. But that's just it. It's unlike your usual feature videos with, "complete" builds so we get to see and get an idea of what the build brings we don't want to see a 5500rpm limiter lol. Again no offense whatsoever to the builder I completely understand the build process. Maybe waiting for the end result first then doing the feature would've had happier reviews. I for one would really like to see the c20xe hype at max rpms. Looking forward to the follow up!

I would love to see you do a feature on a 200 doch fe there are a few in cpt but these are the type of drivers who keep to themselves... would love to see you convince one of these guys to do a feature... i still think those fe3n motors are the best 2.0l ever produced if one of these guys would just want to show them off to the world a bit... and no not the egi... the fe3n thanks 🙏

bye the way the OPEL Superboss came out when the bmw came with a 325 which was a 2.5 ltr motor and after moering bmw , they also built a 325is ,Mike briggs and Grant Mcleery still moerse them winning class AB DeFand G toyota rsi 16v won class c untill baby boss came out 1. ltr gsi . besides the heads and cams everything was built in p.e . getrag gearbox still the best as proven in satcar when bmw came out with hollinger btw Nizaam will know me i had the fatsest superboss in s.a

Big boss came out with 20xe not c20xe. The euro shape Astra F had a better suspension compared to the gsi shape. Give or take

So do your friends know that when you borrow their cars, you thrash the crap out of them? Should really let them know about that... One of my mates borrowed another mates Subaru B4, ended up coming to pick me up, and when we were driving down the road, I could hear the drive-train dragging on itself, I asked him what was up with the car. He said nothing was up, and that he'd done nothing. A couple of days later we had to get it put up on the hoist. We discovered he'd tried to launch it, and screwed the rear diff. That was a costly experience, which he didn't have any money to cover, so in the end, he never drove any of our cars ever again.
