In today’s video, I finally received the SPD turbo whistle package I ordered for my 2017 F150 with 2.7L Ecoboost. I open boxed it, played sound clips with revs and went on a drive to listen to it and had a 2 week update.

I personally love the sound of the 2.7 with this setup they remind me of the God like Buick Grand National.

my 2.7 sounds like this i only have borla atak thinking about downpipes is it would make a sound difference

Did you get any codes pop for the high flow cats? Did you need to tune your truck for the new setup?

No codes at all and I didn’t need to adjust my tune. The truck feels a bit different as it makes you want to put the pedal down! lol It’s been a great exhaust so far and I have received a lot of compliments.

Is there a particular reason you choose the 2.7 over 3.5?

Well, tbh I didn’t choose. This was my father’s truck and I built it in his honor however, if I were to buy another I’d go with the 2.7, quicker on take off, dependable (hear a lot of issues on 3.5’s), can’t beat fuel mileage, overall just a fun engine to drive. I peel out in these 14.50 wides.

Not at all but that def depends on who is driving. I feel I kinda needed a little more sound but honestly as far as cab noise, it’s not any louder than my air intake or bov.
