Louis Tomlinson speaks out regarding Justin Bieber’s decision to cancel the rest of his Purpose World Tour. The “Back to You” singer tells Nina and Shoboy on 92.3 AMP Radio he understands how grueling touring can be. “[T]o a certain degree, when you’re signing up to something, you should see it through,” he says. When he gets worn out, Tomlinson says he looks to the fans for inspiration.

if there's one celebrity that cares about his fans its louis he always sticks up for us and always talks about us like we are the best thing ever not many people are like this after 7 years. we should never take him for granted he is amazing and I fucking love him

Louis understands about Justin's decision but he is just saying how no celebrity would be where they are without their fans and I know Justin knows that. I'm a directioner and Louis is my favourite but I know Justin loves his fans but he chose his health first which is good and better because health is important and comes before anything and Louis understands that so if there is any beef with beliebers getting mad at Louis don't twist his words guys. Plus Louis got asked that question. He just said his opinion and was respectful. And remember, Louis and Justin are friends. All of 1D and Justin are friends. I think Niall is the one Justin may be the closest with but then obviously Justin is friends with all of them because the boys love Niall so they're friends with Justin too. Just please no beef, Louis is Justin's friend :)

Zayn is closest to Justin I believe. They hang out together a couple of times before around late 2013-2014. Justin said it in an interview, as I remember.

How was louis being a jerk? He said most importantly you have to be in a good place mentally, but yea if you put out tour dates you have somewhat of an obligation to do them

Alyssa Scott so he should finish the tour? I don't know what's going on with Justin but does that mean that Justin shouldn't care about his mental or physical health or his family or anything else he should only care about the fans and finish the tour even if it causes him to become even more mentally unstable so much so that he could kill himself?

1bam159 I said most importantly he should be in a good place mentally but before you sign up for an 18 month tour wouldn't you think "hmm 18 months is a long time I might get tired so I'm not going to make it that long so I don't let the people that bought tickets to see me (which aren't that cheap) down?"

Alyssa Scott maybe he did but they made him do it I heard that they added more tour dates so maybe it wasn't 18 months at the beginning and people who bought tickets are getting a full refund and you also said he has an obligation to do the tour

1bam159 i said he had an obligation because if you schedule shows and that is your job and what you do for a living you shouldn't cancel unless you arent in a good place mentally and didn't he say he was fine just tired? Theres no doubt I'd be tired too but that doesn't mean cancel especially when those are some of the ones he added. I think he should've added like 5 more then if he still felt ok add 5 more and so on... just so people who have been waiting to see him wouldn't be excited and then a week before they see him they can't anymore

In Louis defense, beliebers shouldn't be calling him a dickhead because who goes into an 18 moth tour thinking that they're not gonna get tired? I'm not hating on Justin but besides on being a good artist he also has to be smart. He can't just be like "I'm gonna tour for 18 months straight and not get tired" he has to be reasonable too.

He is 100% right. Sure, sometimes things happen that you can’t control and they change everything but when you organise something that big, you should see it all the way through.

In Bieber's defense, One Direction has been on the road for 5 years, but I would say the exhaustion is equal between 1D and Bieber because: 1. One Direction has no strenuous choreography. As someone who knows the entire Purpose Tour choreography, I can assure that it's a physical feat that Justin (who is not a professional dancer) was able to keep this up multiples days at a time ever since May 2015 when he performed Where Are U Now live for the first time. (Clever News stated May 2016, but it's actually May 2015) 2. For each song performance, One Direction's efforts are split among the five guys. Justin Bieber has to perform 100% during each song. 3. One Direction's breaks were longer.
