I have this bag too and totally agree with every single con you mentioned. Thank you for a thorough and honest feedback. I still have mine but the small opening is so annoying, so much so that I no longer use it.

Thanks for the updated review on this bag. I am a big fan of the speedy b 25 so much that I sold all my 30's and now have 3 speedy b 25's in my collection the Damier Ebene, Monogram and Damier Azur. For me it is perfect because it holds everything I carry, it's light in weight, you can wear it crossbody, hand held or in the crook of the arm. I also use a purse organizer it helps with the structure and things not getting lost in the big hole. :-)

@@Dalbitare It's a tie between the mono and the damier ebene for me. The mono is really pretty with honey patina but the DE is weather proof and I love that classic red interior. Can't wait to hear which one you choose. xoox Wendy

Great info Amy! I find using SLG's helps cut down the annoyance of fishing for a small item in a bag, especially when you can't use your eyes and are solely relying on your hand to find something.

This use to be my dream bag besides the chanel jumbo double flap when I was little. When I finally was able to afford luxury goods, this bag never made it into my collection. I still think it’s a great classic and I ended up purchasing a mini hl instead, so technically I have a speedy in my collection. Great review!

Hi Amy~ Always love watching your videos! I just wanted to ask for yout opinion on if you had to choose between the LV Speedy 25 B or the LV Neverfull? I have the Neverfull MM but I really am considering adding this bag into my collection despite the cons.... What do you think? Appreciate your input♥

It is such a practical bag. I would recommend this style and size to anyone. I prefer Ebene simply because I live in rainy London and the vachetta is hard to maintain. Thanks for your review.

I love this shape, so I got the Coach Satchel in the same style! It is a lot stiffer, so I didn't need an organizer. Ihave a video about it, if you're interested 😀

Great review!💖 i only review discontinued LV bags bt i do own a few new or latest ones & 1 of em is my speedy bandou25 which is my fave and an azure30. I also find the damiere ebene leather trims stiff. i prefer d feel & look of the light leather trims of monogram in canvas and d. azure 👍💕💕💕

What about the alma bb in ebene? is that also heavy on the straps? Does that bother you? I don't carry much but feel the Speedy B is lighter than the Alma bb ebene. I prefer a more everyday bag. Can't decide, think I need to try it on at the store...but so far I like the subtle look of the ebene print.

I owned the alma bb in epi leather before and I didn't find it heavy because you can't fit as much as the speedy b :)

I recently bought this bag and I love it! I have an unboxing on my channel, I was wondering if it's normal that the straps came assembled or not? Because I saw on other channels that they came unassembled, not that it matters that much. Just wondering.

Completely normal. Some SAs pre- assembles them, some don't.

+Kathy Cruz It could be a good replacement for a tote because of its size. However, I find that the size 30 doesn't wear as cute cross body. It looks more like a duffle bag to me 😊

Hi Amy~ I know you sold your sppedy b 25 in damier ebene but I had a question if you don't mind.. I just bought a damier ebene speedy 25 b and upon getting it I notice bubbling on both sides of the coated leather :(( Was it like that with yours? I'm just so unsure if I need to take it to a store to have it checked out or even perhaps returning/exchanging.. Would love to get your input!! Xoxo

I'm not sure what you mean by bubbling but it doesn't sound normal to me. I'd have it exchanged if it's a brand new bag.

Hello, I watched 1 of your videos and you did mention your chanel bag was authenticated by someone. I recently bought a preloved speedy bag, I just have a question and wanted it to be authenticated. Can you pls help me out. 😊

Congratulations on you preloved speedy! Unfortunately, I am not an official authenticator and cannot provide this service legitimately and I wouldn't want to make a mistake doing so either. There are plenty of authenticating services out there for a nominal fee. I used Sabina Lynn for my Chanel bag and you can easily reach out to her by email. She is also on Instagram. I also suggest you join the Facebook groups and purseforum for further research. The purseforum also offers free authentication services from experienced volunteers but you have to be patient and follow their guidelines for the free service. :)
