Hi Loves! Coming to you with a first impression on my newest bag: Louis Vuitton XS Keepall in the reverse monogram eclipse. I also wanted to share what you can carry in this little bag because it may surprise you, it is quite mighty! This video has prompted me to discuss quality issues when it comes to Louis Vuitton so I'll be making a dedicated video to that shortly. I went to LV and Gucci last week and I was very disappointed in some Gucci quality issues. LV isn't perfect but the more I see the more I am impressed by LV's quality it's def better then gucci. I was gonna buy a Palm Springs mini once but the LV's didn't line up right on the very front so I passed (and its so hard to get) and I dont regret it. I will pass if its not what I am comfortable with, but I've been very happy with my LV items. LV is certainly making a LOT of items at a larger scale I think then like Botegga vonetta etc. and I think its hard to do hand made at scale. I hope they keep the quality up.

I actually like the reverse logo on the sides being upside down because it makes this bag more of a rebel which is the character that I think it should portray! I have one and I ❤️ it 😃

Yes! My loop was like that too, but it was worse. It was completely useless. That, coupled with the weird handle shape, made me send it back. But - it is a gorgeous bag!

I completely agree with the slip pocket issue you have sometimes, you are not alone in this! It always seems like a great selling point in theory, but some bags (especially ones that are small) usually end up being more in the way. A larger tote with a decent size slip pocket that sits higher in the bag is usually a better idea as I can use it more for items that I need more readily available.

Wish those slightly bigger version Keepall had this type of reversed shoulder strap (not into nylon strap). This tiny cuties owns everything perfect details! Love your matching key pouch, now I am thinking to get both as my first reverse print purchase, especially the black-grey color combo 😅 … Thanks for sharing ❤

I adore this silhouette and canvas of this unique bag…it is so handy and versatile. Great choice! I have two other beautiful bags from LV, but this 20 ish size is classic and unique! Last year I acquired the empriente black leather one in the size 20 version and wow what an under rated bag. The one I ordered was beautifully made and holds it’s shape. I think your leather handle should ease into position..perhaps canvas being less stiff than leather. Can’t stop wearing mine…my new, go too bag. Yes, LV quality control is an issue, but have to say all the houses have had issues except a rare few, like SL, not sure they are more or less handcrafted. So far, I have been lucky, and expect that order by mail now has it’s down sides. I I sell original paintings at an art gallery, the quirkiness is part of their charm, very few are pristine. No excuse tho, for super wonky, off center and thread bare.

Hey Minnie, the little loop can be re-stitched in LV store. Normally they will have someone in store (a trained SA) who is trained to handle small adjustments like this. This way they don’t need to send the bag back to the repair center. I’ve done this on a few occasions and waited just 30 minutes at most. 🙌🏼♥️

I just love you Minnie youre such a class act people are so rude and you handle it so well. I noticed the handles being wonky in the unboxing too but you were so excited about it so i didnt say anything, I've come to realize if we are going to buy LV thats just the luck of the draw but its just the cutest bag.

Cute bag, nice video! There was s no way I would put a water bottle in my bag (especially sideways). But I guess it’s nice to know it will fit. I agree with you that mini bags should carry mini pieces in them to maximize what you carry!

Huge congrats on the beautiful keepall xs!!! Yay, I was wondering when you would add a handbag in this print. I am a woman and I’m also obsessed with the monogram eclipse. I’m not sure why the womens collection was relegated to the brown monogram. I have a few but I much prefer black I’m figuring out. I have the trio messenger in monogram eclipse/reverse and I love it too! I bought it on launch date before this speedy existed. I only wear the large pouch by itself. I’d never wear it with all 3 pieces attached. Ugh Im trying so hard to resist this cute keepall but I may cave! Love love love your new addition! Enjoy it sweetie! 🖤🤍🖤🤍

Hi mini, I was at LV last weekend and tried this bag on and didn’t like it at all. I felt that the handles were too small and wonky and you can’t even carry the bag because the handles are so tiny. That being said I ended up purchasing the City Keepall in the Monogram eclipse. OMG, I absolutely love this bag! I love the fact that I can carry it as a cross body and get in and out of it so easily without any handles. I understand that it’s a different look but I already have four Speedy’s and another keepall so don’t really need another bag with handles in that family. I am going to try your idea of switching out the strap for a chain and see how I like it. Love your videos and thanks for sharing your thoughts.

My Speedy 20 handles were the same way. They’ve also started to relax. I don’t mind the wrinkles either. I figure skin is going to wrinkle 😆 Even though the Alma BB is not my favorite, I would love to see it in the Eclipse.

Yes! The strap loop is too lose!!! Mine does the same 😡 I love mine and my handles are perfect. I had a very light wrinkle on the back, but now there are a few more light ones bc I wear it. I’m ok with that.

The only interior slip pocket I’ve ever found to be useful is the one inside the Polene Numero Un Nano. It’s like the PERFECT size for a cardholder (mine is the Gucci Marmont Card Holder) and it makes it super accessible. Especially when you close the little snap buttons, it’s easy to slip in and slip out as opposed to unbuttoning those little buttons just to dig for your card holder.

I love Monogram Eclipse the most since it also features silver hardware! 😩 For some reason, the women’s line primarily has golden hardware which I am not really a fan of due to tarnishing. I really hope they will introduce it to the women‘s line someday!

Great bag I have the Gucci Boston Ophidia Web White Calfskin Shoulder Bag in the same shape and it fits so much! I also have added a Guitar strap. It is one of the bags I get commented on the most because the shape is so unique!

Ahh your XS Keepall is such a cutie, I luv it 💕 I have to say I have similar experience with the strap thingies being loose.. my Palm Springs mini have the same issue :( I had to exchange that bag 3 times due to quality issues on the backpack itself.. after the 3rd one I didn’t even bother again even with the strap things being loose. Nevertheless, still luv my bags and still luv LV. 😌💕

In case you want a more matchy-matchy chain, I think coach sells a gunmetal chain strap (called the Dinky Chain - maybe?) I looked at it once when I was considering a YSL toy Lou Lou and wanted a gunmetal chain.

The wrinkles don't bother me either but what worries me is after the wrinkle, will it start to crack? I didnt even look at that on my keepall. I'm gonna go check it out tomorrow, lol. My nano speedy have wonky handles too.

Literally… The 👏🏼 Best 👏🏼 Bag 👏🏼 Ever!! I had to force myself to stop using it so I can use my other bags haha. The Price is a bit high for a crossbody but I can justify it because of the cost per wear 🥰 I’m happy you enjoy using the keepall XS as well Minnie!

Minnie, I have the City Keepall in Eclipse, which is a bit bigger than yours. I love its non leather strap, since it’s super comfortable and it goes perfectly with the hardware… maybe you should consider that as well. I also keep gravitating to this bag, since it’s so beautiful, practical, easy to carry and carefree!

You could also consider the strap of the Messenger Trio in Eclipse, since it has a hook for a small coin holder (as the multi pochette, but in the men’s version). It’s the same type of strap that I was mentioning above, which is very comfortable to carry.

I agree, I wish they would bring this to the womens line with blacked out hardware! I just don’t love silver and I feel black hardware can be worn with gold or silver jewelry. I also prefer no slip pocket, I always accidentally get something in there and then I can’t find it! I prefer a zip pocket if I have one at all so it doesn’t gape open and get caught

How about sell the strap away & use another non adjustable right sized LV strap? That’s what I done & make the keepall xs looks kinda different. Don’t put water bottle in it! It gets troublesome if water leaks into the bag..

This video made me buy this bag. Got mine today. I was lucky it was available in the San Francisco Bloomingdale’s store. I love it. It’s a cutie and it can fit as much as my other everyday bags. So happy I got it :).

were they lined in leather inside? Maybe they are not lined in leather anymore. I got a glorious card holder in the reserve monogram brown and it was like $250 and fully lined in leather inside which I thought why did they even bother but it smells so good and feels so stiff/sturdy.

Just looked this up on the website…the size is 8.3 x 4.7 x 3.5 … why it says this has black hardware 🤷🏻‍♀️. Cute crossbody but, I don’t feel the price ($2,030 before taxes) is worth a bag that would have imperfections. If I decide to purchase this, I will definitely drive the 2 1/2 hrs to the store so I could see it first. But, that’s just me.💁🏼‍♀️

Maybe after Nicholas leaves they might bring it over to the womens. Because he didn’t come up with it and maybe respect to Kim Jones, he doesn’t want to use that print. But when he leaves I think the next director would be for it more. Eclipse also drives more mens market a lot so they want to keep it separate .

I think a leather craftsman could tighten your leather bit on the strap for very little cost .. better than letting lv send it in somewhere 😅

While the bag is nice, I am extremely surprised you were willing to overlook all those flaws, but returned the other bag with the small peeling section. I hope this is not considered acceptable standard for LV, who should be providing much better quality for the price. It is unacceptable.

I don't understand why anyone would put a bottle of water in a purse. What if it accidentally opens? I never carry water in my purse and prefer to hydrate at a cafe or bar.

Agreed, I would only ever put it in a tote with a dedicated water bottle pocket where it would stand up straight. Too risky, not just for the bag but for all your stuff
