This is a great movie. I went thru Chemo and lost all my hair. The picture you see as my profile pic was the first time I was able to get hair braided after and then to find out that I also have alopecia as well. It took all of my strength, however I had to realize that I am not my hair, and accept all things thru Christ that I am alive and here today. Thank you for this movie. It was much needed. 😊

This movie related to me in so many ways. I’m living with Alopecia and have just launched a book where I’m saying “Enough Already! Overcoming the stigmas of Alopecia” . It’s a painful journey and all we need is to be loved and accepted. We are more than our hair. Our hair does not define us💙 Thank you for this movie, thank you for creating the awareness that the world needs to know.

I didn't have alopecia, but as a woman going through chemo and one day all your hair is gone is heart breaking. Any woman who experience hair loss feels insecure because ppl stare ask questions. But because God made us in His image I embraced me and that's when I truly fell in love with me. To every woman you really are Beautiful in your own way. The movie shows how to just embrace love. Loving you and allowing others to love you also.😘

I love the movie. Many times our insecurities get in the way of True Love. We kill our own dreams of true thinking the other person will not accept us. Love from the heart is more stable and solid than from the head. Their relationship was not lust, it was love from the beginning. I love the outcome!!!!

Today I waited till the whole movie was over. I usually stop the film and comment and read. Today I actually saw the end of the movie first. This girl remind me of the actress that played Toni on the sitcome Girlfriends I don't know her name but it was with Tracee Elis Ross as Joan her best friend. Anyway I enjoyed her big pretty eyes. She was too humble and I'm glad they show prayers are answered especially after disasters or when you're about to give up. He knew that was so grand. ***

This was real life for me in high school my best friend had this bad and she would get so bullied people would walk by and try to pull her wigs off she didn't have any friends because they didn't want to be around her so how we started being friends was I was a big girl so I started to try to fight the whole football team and any one else who tried her. Now we're no longer best friends age and time changes but we still say hi and now she's happy and married this movie puts a smile on my face to have a funny memory 30 years ago...

I don't have alopecia but I can very much relate to this movie. I got tired of the curling irons and weaves so I decided to cut my hair off. I have it cut like a fade and I love it but a lot of black women especially in my family ask why did I do it? I said i am not my hair! And guess what? My man is my barber now. You can be loved and you don't need a wig or weave to feel good about yourself. I love the message in this film and I've been living the message for the past 4 years now. Guess I should change my picture huh?😉

Mother's Day 2020...I really enjoyed this movie, as it spoke to my spirit as one who lost my hair from alopecia, I've been wearing wigs since 1992. I've always felt like no man except me for not having my hair. As time has gone by I have excepted this condition, and am so much better now.

I love this movie, it reminds me of how hurtful it is to reject or hide the plain truth about U. You'll find peace in your heart, recover from, or overcome depression once you are not scared of being yourself. Grace to those fighting from such battles all by themselves 💓

Had tear in my eyes at that ending! Wow! "I'll be a fool" a great ending and what I've learned from this is we have to learn to love ourselves no matter what others think of us. And just because we are dealing with insecurities someone else can help us to love ourselves. It may not always be the case with each individual person, but we must see past our own perception of ourselves.

My best friend has alopecia and I love and respect her for the confidence that she has. I know it's not easy for her at times but she doesnt allow it or the negative comments from others to stop her. When she shaved her head bald she really looked amazing. I enjoyed the movie i hope that others with alopecia and any other type of imperfection to stop them from being the beautiful person that they are.

This hits home for me. My niece has alopecia. She a beautiful blk young lady,but I think she doesn't see it or realize it. It doesn't help kid's at her school and in her neighborhood pick at her for not having hair. As a auntie I hate when strangers bully her. She is such a amazing person that she doesn't hate the ppl that hate/bully her for No reason. Anyway yesterday she got her self a custom made wig. U can tell it gave her some confidence, and some happiness back. I kinda feel some way that she feels a wig makes her beautiful. She is and will always be beautiful regardless if she didn't have a wig. I told her this morning she beautiful without that wig she remember that. She said I know aunty. I just smiled. I always tell my beautiful nieces how beautiful they are. Yeah I have. 5 niece's but only three are able to understand what I mean when I say your a beautiful.
