I've been listening, hearing, blown away, goose bumping, chicken skinning, emotional, devotional, loving, admiring, proud, humble, grateful, overwhelmed, super inspired, expressing all the superlatives possible, and Spiritually encouraged by Stan Walker, The Levites, and The Standard for the past few years almost every day and I never tire of listening to the same songs over and over and over again. And since reactions began it's fantastic to see Americans, English, Africans, and music lovers all over the world reacting with the same sentiments of our local talents here in New Zealand and Australia. Love the depth of your appreciation of Stan and The Levites. I know exactly how that feels. His love for God and Jesus overwhelmingly undeniable in "Amazing Grace" and "New Light" lifts Stan and The Levites above everyone else out there. Then he and the band give us "Ultra Light Beam" "I Am" "Bigger" and many more without losing the incomparable quality. Welcome to the Stan Walker and The Levites family. 🙏🏽🌹💛🤍💙🎤🎸🎹🥁🎸🎤🎤🎤🎶🎵🎼❤

The tattoo on his neck "Ataahua" means Beautiful in Maori was the name he planned to call his daughter before his then-girlfriend had the miscarriage. Stan is performing at Aloha Stadium, Hawaii on 4th May. Listen to Stan's "Bigger" & "TUA" the Maori version of Bigger for a side-by-side comparison with the Levites studio versions. No surprise which version I prefer.

Yes his daughter I believe his pregnant partner at the time lost the baby

This man has been through the mill and then some. Lost child, horrific domestic violence as a child, stomach cancer resulting in the removal of his stomach, a rare cancer that took out dozens of his family members, having to learn sing again with no stomach. And what has he been left with? Pure grace - gratitude for what he has, appreciation for where he comes from and a determination to bring joy to others through his gift of a voice and to actively honour his heritage. He is nothing short of inspirational - on so many levels ❤

He was over in the states a few months ago touring. In a few weeks he's off to Hawaii doing a tour.

Loved your reaction thank you! It's kinda impossible not to revel in Stan's voice. It's just so captivating. You've listened to I Am, Ultralight Beam, and this song right? If you haven't heard Amazing Grace (live the the Levites), I recommend it; it is divine. (It's a mashup with Stan's own song 'I Surrender'.) He also put out a new song recently 'Maori ki te Ao', also worth checking out. : )
