Aaliyah seems so sweet and genuine. She never spoke negatively about anyone, including Lydia. She was so understanding of everyone’s feelings and perspectives. But me, I would have had to say how Lydia got me F’d up!! 😂😂😂

He didn’t know Aaliyah and Lydia were friends in the pods, he had forgotten about her. I’m sure if he would have known he would have told her from the jump. Tbh though I think they still can work. It’s Lydia who we need to be worrying about she’s is a walking red flag. She knew from the jump about Aaliyah and Uche’s connection and she didn’t say anything. Also we got to understand that the reason women are having an issue with what Uche said to Aaliyah is simply due to the fact that his tone was not conducive to her emotions. As men we need to understand that women and men communicate differently and as a result this is why the women are upset. Likewise women need to understand that men communicate differently from women. Uche needs to reconsider his tone and Aaliyah needs to understand that her real issue isn’t Uche it’s that snake of a friend she has Lydia. Side note: you fine as hell 🫡

Also, withheld the fact that they slept together three months prior and ONLY admitted to it when Aaliyah said Lydia told her! 🤦🏾♀️ He is just as unhinged as Lydia if not more because he drilled the heck outta her for cheating on her ex two years ago, meanwhile he cheated as well but it “wasn’t as bad” because he was “only 18” whaaaaat?! Uche had his faults and so did Aaliyah but their issue can for sure be worked on, I hope they work out cause I do remember seeing them together in the upcoming trailer. The low hanging fruit degenerate , slut cheated on her boyfriend and hated and despised when he called her out. Something most black female's hate as it pertains to accountability. Accountability for their bad choices and decisions is like kryptonite for them. I can't believe you're making her out to be the victim. Typical modern day black female's mindset nowadays. We have to accept accountability regardless. She didn’t like how he spoke to her because his questioning and tone made her reflect and ask her the hard questions that she never confronted. She never told her ex bf that she cheated on him, and to Uche he was probably like if she can do that who’s to say she won’t do that to me. Sometimes we gotta look past the delivery of the message and focus on the overall message. Then again being that Aaliyah is a woman men need to understand that the way a woman communicates is different from the way a man communicates. Most women are driven by their emotions while most men are logically. That is why the women here have a problem with how Uche spoke to her. If this was a conversation amongst men, I guarantee you this won’t be the conversation we’re having now. The real problem here is Lydia she’s a snake and she’s playing Milton, poor dude ain’t got no clue. Uche and Aaliyah can work this out hopefully.

Yep, she was in the wrong for cheating and he is well within his rights to consider that a deal breaker. HOWEVER, he’s a grown man berating her like a damn dad!!! It wasn’t how he felt but how he went about it that was wrong!

Aaliyah shouldn't have been making friends if her purpose was to find a partner. These women are dating the same men thus they should not leave wisdom at the door. As far as the judgment when asking someone if they cheated why and questioning how they handled it is a valid thing to do. Accountability is missing in too many and it does reveal one's own judgment

As a result our communication styles are different and that’s okay we just gotta learn how to be accommodating. Now of course there’s exceptions to the rule but that doesn’t account for the majority. Y’all do realize Uche had no idea Lydia was in the pods, he even forgot about who she was. He didn’t tell Aaliyah about her because he didn’t feel the need to he deemed Lydia as irrelevant to him. Plus he didn’t know Aaliyah and Lydia were friends. But get this Lydia knew about the connection between Aaliyah and Uche and she didn’t tell her “friend” first. Mind you Uche had no clue Aaliyah and Lydia talked. Lydia had no right to discuss Uche with Aaliyah at all, that is why she left because it was too much for her to handle. If she didn’t do that I am almost 100% certain she would have stayed. Oh and if y’all think Milton and Lydia are a match you’re joking, she’s using him he’s a rebound. Plus the age difference is too crazy

I would've bought this side of the story, but seeing how he felt about dishonesty (which is also withholding information) he should have mentioned this. He didn't have to know they were friends to spill the beans. He just knew he had an ex there and the possibility exists that Aaliyah would have met his ex. Also, he gave aaliyah a harrrrd time about cheating etc and not one peep that his ex from 3 months ago, who he SLEPT WITH, is staying in the same headquarters as is possible fiancé? Cmon now! 😂

I watched the show with close friends. As soon as Lydia walked in she gave the most toxic/ fake vibes. I was not wrong! Just because someone cheats doesn't mean they will with you. Everybody should be treated as individuals not judged by their past. It is hard to be vulnerable and have someone throw your mistakes in your face. Cheating obviously isn't right, but people can learn from their mistakes. Aaliyah is beautiful and educated and deserves the best in a safe space of no judgement.

I think Aaliyah is a lovely woman, but I absolutely agree with Uche’s questioning; let’s keep in mind that this woman, whom, he plans to marry, may be the mother of his children someday. I keep hearing the word ‘judgmental’, he has every right to have standards….we’re all a bit judgy. If she was a guy, the majority would tell her to ‘run for the hills’, because ‘once a cheater, always a cheater’…let’s be fair.😳 Perhaps, she has change, but is that a chance…you would want your son to take??? Addressing the Lydia situation: It’s possible that the producers told Uche not to reveal his past relationship with Lydia, still, it’s very wrong. It would be interesting to see how this ends.

I agree totally. The purpose of asking deeper questions is to get to the root of how someone thinks abd behaves, decisions etc. If we do something wrong and share it we must also allow the person to process it. Cheating to get needs met is the why but the how you did it and weren't accountable is problematic. I didn't think he berated her I thought he stuck to the facts initially. Once he had time to process he understood she was honest and regretted it.

Proud of her for what. She went on love is blind to find someone to marry not a friend. I can’t believe she wasn’t smart enough to see that Lydia was trying to sabotage her. I was mortified I could see how fake Lydia was and she was thinking she wants to be her friend. Lydia wanted Uche back and that’s why she befriended Aliyah to sabotage her. Lydia achieved her end goal of sabotaging Aliyah. I am not m saying she should have stayed with Uche. But she not have let Lydia get to her.

Lydia's personality is a bit pushy when Aaliyah told her. I don't want to know multiple times, not just once but multiple times she should have understood. That doesn't mean keep going when somebody tells you more than once about something. Listen. Lydia's personality is aggressive and It would put off anyone clearly. She put off two people on the show, one who she attempted to date before the show and the other who she made friends with Lydia's personality is different. I don't think she means harm but she needs to calm down like really just simmer down.
