just read an article of an interview with Rory and he said that the 6 couples they showed were not the only ones to get engaged but the producers didn't expect so many couples to actually propose so they picked 6 couples but like twice as much actually proposed but since the producers didn't expect it they just kinda sent the other couples on their way and that's why we don't see their story lines. I think they just picked the 6 they thought would be best for TV. ... if that sheds anymore light on why other people were barely shown.

Something I didn’t understand was how at the reunion Diamond said that she was getting so much hate. I wouldn’t have personally reacted like that but I felt like her actions were valid due to the situation 🤷🏾‍♀️

It’s really unfair that Diamond was accused of being bi-phobic. I understand that Carlton was trying to prove that being bisexual doesn’t make up everything he is, but it certainly is a part of who you are romantically.. and to not reveal that until after you propose and see each other in person seems a bit shady. Besides, the minute he told Diamond this, she was still comforting him and doing her best to try and calm him down. Then the moment she wanted to talk about it and how it’s affecting her, Carlton lashed out and put her down, called her names, and called her bi-phobic which is just ridiculous. It wasn’t the fact that he was bisexual that made her upset, it was the fact that he withheld that information from her and didn’t tell her sooner. This was a serious commitment to make and if he wanted this to work, he should have let her know before proposing to her because it makes it seem like he waited till he locked her down to tell her this when he should’ve just let her know from the get go so she could’ve had a bit more of a choice. I understand that you should come out when you’re comfortable, but you should also be understanding of where the other person is coming from, especially if they are being as comforting as Diamond was. He should have respected her the way she respected him.

Jessica was such a hot mess. Like she's the oldest of the bunch yet she was the most immature and was seriously drunk all the time. lauren and cameron were the cutest. Damian and Kenny were genuinely good guys and Giannina and Kelly acted like they were way out of the guy's league. Like wuhhh, Giannina was straight up toxic and the way Kelly's family react to everything goes to show that Kelly is probably always in bad relationships with shtty guys. They were super shallow. Amber wasn't the greatest catch, but barnett wasn't either. He was so bland though, I'm surprised so many girls liked him. Damian was my fave and Mark is just so pitiful lol I can't wait for season 2 lol

This show is premium trash with trainwreck like Jessica who is TV Gold. In terms of people, you root for Lauren and Cameron are super cute together and I'm glad they are still married (This was filmed in late 2018). This was the #1 program on the US version of Netflix for multiple days and the show is still in the top 5 even tho it's finished now. I can't wait to watch the Reunion hopefully it's super messy (I'm expecting Amber and Jessica to argue).

After hearing that the producers told her to stay on the show after she wanted to leave I kinda formed a different opinion on Jessica. Apparently she was really worried about her dog who was almost dying (hmm maybe they found alcohol in its liver?). They also definitely put the villain narrative on her. It's fun to poke fun at the show but also let's not forget these are ultimately real people we're poking fun at.

I think married at first sight might be crazier because they get married before even knowing, seeing, or talking to each other.

Okay so I know someone who worked on the show and he's told me a couple of things. 1. Plants: Even if love is blind, the people working on the show are not. There are a load of blind dates that we don't see and producers slowly weed out contestants to match people up with people whom they think would suit them based on what they've said on other dates. 2. Nick & Vanessa: There was a TONNE of their content that was cut for some reason. There was a whole game they played where the guys designed the engagement ring, hence the scenes in which they nervously talk to the girls about what kind of ring they were hoping for.

Not physically attracted to Mark? Or insecure that he's attracted to her with the age gap? What's the deal? I'm frustrated enough on my own, I could not watch this.
