Love does not "transcend time and space." In spite of how strong love can feel, or how much we want to believe it is somehow transcendent, the poet Philip Larkin gets it right when calls the survivability of love an "almost-instinct" that's "almost true."

Oh, yes! I love William Morris! He was a novelist, poet, publusher, designer of furniture, wall paper and painter...plus a leading organiser of the socialist movement in England and the Arts and Crafts movement, too I highly recommend Fiona MacCarthy's definitive Biography William Morris: A life for Our Time..it's excellent, well rearched and over 700 pages! Ok, back to the poem.....

William Morris 1834 - 1896 Love is enough: though the World be a-waning, And the woods have no voice but the voice of complaining, Though the sky be too dark for dim eyes to discover The gold-cups and daisies fair blooming thereunder, Though the hills be held shadows, and the sea a dark wonder And this day draw a veil over all deeds pass'd over, Yet their hands shall not tremble, their feet shall not falter; The void shall not weary, the fear shall not alter These lips and these eyes of the loved and the lover.

I know this might sound like rubbish(I would have said this before)but the love that will never fail you is God. And also He will bring you the right person, someone who will love you with a great heart. And no, I am not a religious brainless person, I was atheist, then agnostic.. until I was rescued and saved by the Lord Jesus Christ . Hope you are doing well in life, stay strong. God bless

Greetings. God bless you. ✨
