♦️JIMIN, not only wrote the lyrics for, his hugely successful song "Friends", about Tae & his relationship, but also composed the melody for, as well as helped produce. Jimin also said that he continually texted Tae throughout the writing process just to make sure Tae's parts, his lyrics would meet with Tae's approval, as well as getting input from Tae!! Jimin also gave Tae equal amount of verses, even giving certain notes to Tae, that Tae himself said he had difficulty in singing at first, but even after hearing from the other producers involved that Tae was having difficulty, he decided to keep them in, knowing & having faith in Tae's abilities. Sure enough, Tae said that he pushed through, achieving magnificently, those more difficult notes, just like Jimin knew he could. Jimin has always been Tae's biggest supporter.

Jimin and V are of the same age, they go to school together during trainee days. They became best friends eventually. THE DUMPLING INCIDENT: One day, Jimin and V had a fight over dumplings. Their dance practice was about to start but V was so hungry he wanted the eat the dumpling before practicing. Jimin disagreed as the other members haven't eaten yet so he suggested eating them AFTER practice. It turned into a heated argument that their hyungs (older members) told them to go out. They stopped talking for two weeks and they only reconciled when one night, Jimin was drunk after a drinking session with Suga. V was waiting for him at the park (this was the time when V wrote 4 O'clock because it was around 4 in the morning). The intoxicated Jimin said to V (while crawling?😂) "Taehyung-ah, you can't do this" but V found it amusing so he pulled his camera and started to film drunk Jimin. V said he still have the video.🤣 PINKY FINGER: Jimin has the cutest and smallest fingers of them all. ALIEN: V used to be called "alien" because of his 4D personality. Jin used to say that he doesn't understand Taehyung at all. You should check their old Bangtan Bombs on the Bangtantv channel to witness his quirkiness yet adorable young Taehyung, but they didn't have subtitles before so I recommend the "Bangtan subs" channel on YT. V has a unique personality and used to have 'taetae' language (more like gibberish language sounding alien-ish) 😂

I actually cried when i first heard this song. VMIN is my favorite kind of friendship. It's even more meaningful because i understand what they are referring in the lyrics, (alien, small pinky, dumpling, high school, and dreamcatcher). Indeed a very personal song for both of them.
