I am a Japanese old man, sixty eight years old. I watched the movie `Romeo and Juliet` when I was a university student and I was very much moved by the movie, tears dropped from eyes. It was a very nostalgic memory.

I was neighbors with Henri Mancini and family growing up. He bought the house in front of mines as a wedding gift to his son and new wife across the street from us in Santa Monica, California. I use to play with his grandson and grandkids. I never understood what a brilliant composer he was when I was a kid. Now at the age of 48 this song brings me back to the many memories of life. If you are all listening to his beautiful music today, give it a thumbs up for Henri Mancini!! His beautiful music will last beyond eternity.

I am 63. I watched this movie in 1977 in Mumbai, India, with my college sweetheart, who later became my wife for 38 years, before she passed away. Everytime I hear this music, it refreshes my memories of the beautiful relationship we had throughout our lives.

The love of my life passed away two years ago. We watched Romeo and Juliet 1968 film as a dating couple, and later as a couple who have reconnected after military service, careers and marriage to other spouses. The music means so much to me as I go on without my love.

I watched this movie 54 years ago when I was just graduated from college. This is one of the most touching movies I have ever seen in my life. And the music/song composed by Italian composer Nino Rota and arranged by the American music arranger Henry Mancini, whether it is "What Is A Youth?" sung in the movie or later renamed "A Time For Us", sung by Andy Williams and many other American singers, I often listen to it continuously for one or two hours and still feel wanting to keep listening to it furthermore!

So beautiful! Frankly, I am blessed to have experienced a once in a lifetime event with my wonderful wife! Like the famous Shakespeare couple, I was 16 and she was 17. We survived a tragic event that could have destroyed our marriage. Yet the Great God of All lifted us up and allowed us to be married for 45 years! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!

I was 13 years old and worked at a drive-in movie theater in Port Elizabeth in 1969. This masterpiece played 2 shows per night, 6 days per week, for 3 months: A total of 144 times I watched this movie, and I cried every time I watched it. It's had a profound effect on my life and love ever since. I still want to cry when I listen to the theme. Magnifique Monsiuer Zefferelli, Henri Mancini.

The film score was composed by Nino Rota...I think Mancini had his own arrangement of Rota's score, but Mancini wasn't the composer.

Смотрела этот фильм в 1976-77 гг.. Мелодия заворожила.. Несколько лет искала её. Она жила в моей душе. Второй раз услышала её в 1982 г., сидела, слушала как завороженная... А теперь, когда уже на пенсии давненько - можно слушать её сколько хочешь - через интернет. Спасибо за прекрасное исполнение!!!

This tune was from a movie film "Romeo & Juliet". I have watched this movie over hundred times for the past 53 years and never grew tired of watching this. It reminds me back, when I was in college in Engineering when I dated my GF to watch this movie and that night I swear to God I could have taken her but I didn't do IT. She was the FISH that got away cause I respected her and wanted her pure before marrying her. So I dedicate this tune to her Magdalena (Ellen) Gonzales of Los Banos, Laguna.....how I miss her so much....and still LOVE her.

every time I listen to this music, my feelings become emotional, mixed between sadness and emotion, making me suddenly cry for no reason.. maybe this is what is called the magic of music.. and I've been listening to this music for 3 hours nonstop 😀 I love this music so much...🥰
