Hello everyone! This week's video is a bit different, it's an animated story time about my first ever date. I talk a bit about my experience with online dating, my first kiss, and how I met my boyfriend. This is my Valentine's Day special this year and I hope you all enjoy it! I'm turning 23 this year and honestly hearing that someone else was single for 20+ years makes me so much less anxious about finding love. All my other friends are already getting married, are dating someone or at least dated someone at some point and I was always self conscious for not even having a single date in my entire life, nevermind a boyfriend. And the fact that I'll be 23 this year made me pretty depressed, but not because I want a date and I can't find anyone, but because it always felt like I'm on some kind of a timer and I MUST do these love related things before it's "too late" or I'm "too old" to have my first boyfriend Thank you so much for sharing your story, I'm so glad I could relate to a cool person like you and not feel like finding love at 26 is "too late" or whatever. My boyfriend turns 23 this year also and we just had our first date about a month ago. Neither of us have ever dated or kissed anyone before. There is no rush! There will always be single men of all ages, all over the world. In my opinion, it's better to take things slow and find the right person for you instead of rushing into a relationship and doing things you might regret. Me and my boyfriend were friends for 3 years before we ever dated, and dating ended up being the best decision we've ever made. I wish you the best in your love life! Don't give up!!!

This is so wholesome. Your first date with your boyfriend sounded awesome. I can also relate to this I’m 24 years old, I have never had a girlfriend before, I have never kissed a girl before and I relate to being shy and socially anxious and I’m still having trouble finding someone compatible to date. You shouldn’t feel embarrassed in starting to date, having your first boyfriend and kiss at 26. Everyone’s relationship history starts different and finding a boyfriend/ girlfriend is about finding someone who you are compatible with and have a connection with and quality over quantity. Thank you for posting this video it makes not feel alone and weird. Yes I would definitely like to see more storytime videos about dating in the future!

I feel the exact same way as you. I'm 20 years old and also never kissed anyone in my life. I'm having trouble finding someone compatible too. It's making me really depressed honestly and I'm losing hope. It feels like I won't find the right person where I am... all the guys suck here. I need to move somewhere else and hopefully I'll find better people but that's never gonna happen :') I can only seem to find people who relate to me online and live super far away so I can't meet them... ugh it really sucks. Why can't I just find someone compatible where I live ;-; I'm gonna be alone forever I swear...

In elementary and middle school I already “dated” multiple times, but these were more of kids games than actual relationships. I’m glad your first kiss went well, my first and only kiss was awful and I don’t want to do it ever again 😓

This was so sweet, it made me tear up. I too can relate to being a late bloomer when it comes to the dating scene, and me and my boyfriend also had our first ever kiss together.😊 I’m go glad that you found someone who makes you happy. If anyone is feeling depressed and lonely, I know exactly how it felt, just be patient and focus on yourself. It really does come when you least expect it

I'm in the same boat as you, I never dated in high school, and have really bad social anxiety, plus the guys that would usually like me were stalkers and creeps. So, I put up a wall when my now husband would ask me out before we dated, but when I realized he was a genuine sweet guy, I finally gave in, and we have been happy ever since! 7:53 I CAN RELATE TO THAT SO MUCH If i can't wash my hands when going out then i would eat the food without my hands, if i could use a fork or spoon or something i'd use that and if it was like a bagel that came in a paper i would use the paper to touch it but i will never touch food without washing my hands

I'm normally very questionable about relationships that form from online dating, but this was actually very cute! And your mom spying on you two is like that best friend in shojo Manga that makes sure you're not dating some creep🤣(not trying to say your boyfriend's a creep. I think it's fine with choosing to take interest in relationship at an older age. That just means you want to be prepared and it's a comfortable age for you. Everyone have different ways to approach dating. As for me I haven't dated at all nor am I interested in anyone romantically (no first love :'')). It's cause I'm too preoccupied I feel like I can't manage anything more in my plate now, as well as my unsociable self added with the boys around me knowing I would've already turned them down by the minute. I'm thinking around 20+ and I would also have my parents supervise from a far :D It's not weird, it's being safe. You're parents don't have to attend the date cause... It's a date?? And you're both adults. But with how we have to protect ourselves, it puts people like me in ease when if anything goes wrong my parents or friends are ready to swoop in to take me away. The story of you both was so sweet 💕✨
