On an ordinary day, not many singers have the power to do what Asami did @2:05 . What a lot of people don't realize is that "Edge of the World" was the 18th and 2nd last song of the FOAK show (15 songs + 4 encores). She belted and held that note after nearly 2 hours of a relentless-paced concert !

Yeah I agree, Asami gets also me every time. She puts everything into every song: look at her face, her eyes while she sings!!!. She said in an interview that she always sings as if it’s the last time she ever will. Her nickname is: The One & Only Voice and it's well deserved! Asami is just 5'0" tall, but her presence on stage is absolutely noticeable: during the live shows she commands the crowd, even without saying a word (during the singing breaks). She is a power-house, with a lot of vocal stamina and one of the best lead-singer & front-women in the Metal scene these days!!

There is NO competition for these Lady's. Completely sold on them. They are the standard for which all strive to be. 🤘✌

It goes without saying that Love Bites' musicality is wonderful, but what's even more wonderful is the "members' humanity and spirituality." Intelligent, clever, kind to others, and beautiful at heart... Just look at Asami's smile at 7:14 as proof! You can see that he is delivering a direct message to the audience with all his heart. It is indeed a fitting moment to be called a goddess! These human qualities are also reflected in the lyrics.

all lovebites members are incredibly talented. we all know that. asami makes no exception there. she seems to be born to be on a stage: her always elegant graceful movements. but also the charisma and authority of a stage general or a circus ringmaster. furthermore she is in every moment of the show an absolute eyecatcher. she is tirelessly hyping up the audience, but also creating short moments of bonding with her fellow bandmembers. but her greatest asset is her voice: powerful against the incredible metal power of the other four. but also pure, beautiful, vulnerable and with the ability to reach the heartstrings of the listeners. she is so amazing.

This song gets me every time! I think it is underrated just how much emotion Asami carries when she sings. She's up there and she really means what she is singing, and it is very clear what some songs mean to her, as well as the fact that she is up there singing in the first place. This is true of all of them, but you can feel it in Asami's voice for sure, not to mention the lyrics of this song. What a message. Asami is my favourite ever female vocalist. She’d be my favourite ever vocalist, but a certain Ronnie James Dio was the master. Asami is in his league for sure, and as a metal vocalist she is unsurpassable. I know it’s not a competition, but in her own way, Asami is every bit as good as Floor Jansen. She may not have the flawless voice that Floor has, but Floor couldn’t deliver this performance. She could sing it, but it would look and sound like musical theatre. I’ve tried getting some heavyweight vocal coaches to check her out but only a couple have done so and expressed amazement….then zip.
