I absolutely love this song. One of my favorites. Songwriting, Asami's ability to carry emotion - but the vocal harmonies!! Amazing. A perfect song really.

They are truly a band that is far greater than the sum of all their influences.

I'll say one thing, they have to be the most talented metal band ( as a complete band )vocals,drums,bass and duo lead guitarists. Add to that, the song writing and musical compositions. Complete package.

Reaction by reaction people gradually realise that these women have no peers. They’re the best. It’s that simple. The beginning of this version is deceptive because it doesn’t exist on the original. I’m looking forward to seeing Knocking at Heaven’s ll because there is a live version of this rare E song. The lucky ones who saw this show witnessed all three E songs.

the next trilogy i would suggest is what i call the m+m side by side solo trilogy. yeah i just made that up but imo has the best 3 solos done live. 'we the united' is their unofficial theme song and they closed a couple of shows with that number. the next is ' signs of deliverance' and after that would be 'when destinies align'. like everything they do all are can't miss masterpieces

Thank you for saying it - I also feel the same way about the M-Pack (Midori and Miyako). The two are extraordinary musicians, play solos, they are extraordinary, play together, no diamond can shine brighter. These five - from my point of view - young women are such exceptionally good musicians - in the new compilation with Fami on bass, the same applies - all exceptionally fantastic musicians, with skills that all other musicians wish for - in my eyes!

Concerning M&M's guitar work together, I use the term 'unsurpassed' as it does not denigrate any others, but places Midori & Miyako as accomplished as any others, today and in history. To elaborate a bit on "thedocofrock" comment about their "twin solos" I will say that "We The United" and "Signs Of Deliverance": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kKx-pc5insyvl5s.html are both played by M&M in unison/harmony from start to finish, not just a 'solo' but throughout those songs. I did not include link for "We The United" due to the two links I know of are 'incomplete' from my view. One has the [cc] lyrics but cuts off the closing moments of the show as it ends the encore. The other includes those closing moments, but lacks the [cc] lyrics. I have heard that when Midori and Miyako write new songs, they dare to incorporate phrases that are quite difficult for both of them at that point, and they practice for days until they can play them perfectly and master them completely before recording them. I believe that this attitude toward songwriting by the two of them continues unchanged to this day.

The appearance of Love bites is from the category of musical sensations. The history of the band is amazing from the very beginning. Midori and Miyako were in unremarkable bands before Lovebites, and Asami had nothing to do with metal music at all. At the end of 2016. they had their first performance, in 2017 - the first EP and LP, in 2018 they already played at Wacken Open Air. Their first studio album Awakening From Abyss 2017 and the live blu-ray Battle in the East 2018 are as good as everyone else. By concentration and his status in the group Miyako - Robert Fripp in King Crimson.:)

Yes, aside from their skills, the songwriting and musicianship of these beautiful women are out of these world. Again, I really love when Miyako plays the piano. I also recommend reacting to Miyako’s piano rendition of Helloween’s “Eagle fly free” (on the Lovebites KZfaq official channel). The studio live version of this song by them is also amazing (many recommend listening to the original first)

I dreaded listening to this trilogy of 'E-songs'-reaction since I feel not everyone actually get how incredible these masters are (In my mind at least..). But you do.. and I will never second guess you ever again. Thank you for your excellent reactions to these beautiful pieces of music! 💚

The finalization of the "E" songs and what a journey, 3 distinct songs in very different genres or styles of rock and metal but quite mesmerizing and explosive just like all of the rest of Lovebites discography. If you want more in-your-face bombastic thrash listen to Set the World on Fire, if you want shredding and solo galore (one song with 14 solos) Scream for Me. In reality, anything you check out from Lovebites is wonderful and phenomenal. Thanks for everything you do I am seriously enjoying this journey you are on with Lovebites and The Warning all you need to do is add VOB to your lineup you will have heads turning. Not sure how you feel about Instrumentals need to check out Asterism (a Japanese metal instrumental band) or Ayu Gusfanz (an Indonesian solo artist and a progressive metal instrumentalist)

I don't disagree with anything you said about M&M being as good as any duo guitarists or the high level of musicianship of all the band. But what gets me is how they maintain such a high level of song writing and arrangement. I don't know of anyone that can match them IMHO. We need to pass an international law. The E in "E" Trilogy is of course a reference to the song names, but it could easily stand for so much more. Epicness, excellence, elegance... perhaps even 'emptiness', as these songs fill an emptiness in me that I didn't even know was there. The maturity of soul (old soul, as you put it) and respectful 'nods' to much older influences is one of the many reasons that Lovebites resonates so strongly with those of us that grew up in the 60s, 70s and 80s! It's hard to express, really, as their music/performance is so impressive in one hand and yet so satisfyingly comfortable in the other....fits me perfectly!! Agree too with your description of the collaborative determination that has to take place during the song writing, it would be very interesting to witness, and yes I doubt that much would break Miyako's focus!! Love your take on what's under the hood--the work, the seriousness, the maturity, the connection, the songwriting...People forget all that stuff. For me, the best analogy for Lovebites is not the Beatles, but Cream. Both bands were incomparable but they hit you in completely different ways. If I had to compare one modern band to the Beatles, it would be Band-Maid.

It's one of my favorite LB songs that shows the insane talent level in this band. The song's score, arrangement, lyrics, and pacing is exceptional. Then we have Miyako's piano, Asami's bluesy vocals, the M & M guitar riffs and harmonizing, the gang and backing vocals, and finally Haruna's kit work are all breathtaking. They have only gotten better since 2019 as a band. How scary is that if you are a musician!!!

Thanks a lot for reacting to the Greatest Band of All Time IMHO. Like most of you guys whose following rock and metal music for a long time, I have never seen any band as good as Lovebites. Other people will mention Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and other monsters of rock which I've followed for many years but after I discovered Lovebites 4 years ago, everything changed. Now I just listen to Lovebites metal music 24/7 eveyday for the last 4 years and I just could'nt get enough of these talented ladies. This is the only band that I play every song without skipping any other songs in their discography coz they are all very good. Please react to WE THE UNITED (Live at Zepp Diver City Tokyo, 2020) . This is the Wolfpack Anthem and the lyrics are very uplifting. Great reaction. They were formed in the second half of 2016 with Miyako not formally a member of the band yet, in 2017 they released an EP and later on their first album. In 2018 they released another EP and in the end of the year they released "Clockwork Immortality" which this song is taken from. This live recording is from January 2019 so I believe Asami ment they had started their third year as a band. Anyways, keep on reacting to our Ladies, they deserve it. If You want to do another trilogy try "Swan Song" which I saw You already did, Dystopia Symphony" and "Lost In The Garden". The last two have no videos but the last one might have a video with the band reacting to the song themselves.

We used to call Asami the metal Mariah Carey. I miss those days. This song is only bettered by Rising in my humble opinion.

Miyako played Rachmaninoff's "Moment Musicaux Op. 16, No. 4 in E Minor" at the start to perfectly set up the mood for this LIVE track. One suggestion - review and analyze Lovebites' latest album, "Judgement Day".
