This band is very underrated and overlooked, i swear to God, this band is a jaw dropper, skills and techniq will kill it.

For me, this band is the best speed power metal band since the end of the 1990ies when we had Stratovarius - Visions, Blind Guardian-Nightfall, Labyrinth-Return To Heaven Denied, Angra did great in that era, Hammerfal also and that kind of stuff. Best thing is that they are really very skilled and amazing live also. All their three albums are amazing. And their DVD is jaw dropping. I IM IN LOVE hehe

Maybe this is the best female metal band(japan) produced today. I've listened to Mary Blood, Cyntia, Aldious etc, but Lovebites songs are more catchy when you listen for the first time. They have that kind of aggressive riffing/ extensive shredding.. plus they sing in english

These girls ROCK!! Totally reminds me of another Japanese all-female metal/hard rock band called Mary's Blood...Band-Maid also comes to mind. There's some kickass bands from Japan. Another great couple of Japanese bands that play different styles are Sigh (psychedelic/black metal) and Ningen-Isu (Sabbath-y hard rock/metal). They are all worthy of checking out. Cheers! Welcome to the Rabbit Hole of Japanese Rock/Metal. The Japanese are absolutely killing it, and the bands are dominated by women. When people here tell me Rock is dead, I tell them, NO, it just moved to Japan and donned Prom dresses, French Maid and bride-maids outfits. You MUST check out Band-Maid. Dice or Reincarnation is good to start with, or any of their live stuff. The drummer is absolutely my favorite drummer and who has inspired me to go learn double pedals. Aldious - Dominator should be your next (drummer is Terry Bozzio's step daughter). Other bands: Asterism (only one female member), D_Drive (only half the band are women), Bridear, and so many others. They'll start popping up in your suggestions, trust me.

My mate pointed me towards Lovebites when I was raving to him about Band-Maid. They're brilliant. You should check out their Bloodstock performance. If you haven't tried Band-Maid yet you really need to! Give either 'Dice' or 'Play (Live)' a go.

Think I like this better than many of the other similar Japanese bands floating around YT, mainly because of the more understandable language here. Seems a bit strange still, after all the years since Fanny in the early seventies, to see all girl bands. Not sure why, they sure as hell can knock spots off a lot of male bands😁 I will certainly be checking this band out some more, as looks like they have a new album out in January.

BTW, I think that for the audio recording, during the verses, the singer's voice is on a single track, but when she sings the chorus, her voice is doubled, singing on two tracks, in harmony. Anyone have any thoughts? It's also cool that when the video starts, the two guitars are playing the melody line of the chorus together, also in harmony. It's a hint of things to come ... on so many levels. Finally, they do a great fake ending at 7:06; they drop the pace as if to end, but then bring it right back up and come up to full speed. It's an epic twist in the song structure! Followed by another solo by Miyako! Twice in this song they either fully stopped the music (at their promotional content), or slowed the song and then revved it right back up to full throttle. That's part of the ride they are taking you on, like going around a tight curve in a sports car or on roller coaster... Too much? .....Great appreciative reaction, Olly The Rock.

Well, they are playing in he music video? Yes, but not for recording, but because Japan is a country where a lot, really a lot of people knows who to play instruments. Literally millions play guitars, hundred of thousands other instruments. Learn to play an instrument is mandatory in really a lot of secondary school, so if someone try to "mimic" millions can see it clearly. But the guitars and bass aren´t plugged, there´s no cable and also i can´t see a wireless so for recording de video probably they are playing but not recording. The recording of course is done in a studio and the sound engineers of Lovebites are no less than Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila. Producers and engineers of bands like Nightwish or Stratovarius among others

they may not actually be playing for the video but there is absolutely no question that these gorgeous shredders can do this-any of their live videos prove that beyond any doubt-the bassist miho and drummer haruna are formerly from girls metal band destrose who i used to love-but they disbanded and midori and miyako-the dueling shredders took over kickass duties on guitars and with new vocalist asami they are the best girl's metal band ever imho

Fantastic band, fantastic song. It's not the best on the album, but the album is full of great songs. Midori and Mi-Ya are the best guitar duo in any Japanese all-female metal band - fast, controlled and melodic. They remind me of classic Glenn Tipton and K. K. Downing from Judas Priest. They have been supporting DragonForce on the UK leg of their world tour. They're heavily influenced by Metallica. I suggest RISING as your next taste of Lovebites - you WILL get bitten! 😋
