Epically epic beyond any epicness I have heard before. I had high hopes for them coming back off hiatus and with the new bassist Fami. They far exceeded my expectations. Asami's voice is the best I've ever heard from her. More powerful, more forward. Haruna's cymbal and china work is second to none, and she plays fast. Midori is shredded thanks to her fitness/bikini competitions. She shreds as solid as she ever has. Miyako said she was working on speed during hiatus, and it showed. Fami brings a technical level of bass that fits so good with this band. That guitar solo run is their best to date. Fami's bass work throughout the solo run is amazing. She changes the bass line and sound with each handoff between Miyako & Midori. They released a second song, audio only, "The Spirit Lives On". Amazing song!! Amazing band!! My all-time favorite band. Love your reaction.

I’ve always enjoyed watching your reactions to Lovebites because you almost pour as much energy into it as they do. This has to be the catchiest metal song ever…yet so powerful at the same time. You’re right, nobody comes close. They are the standard against whom all others must be judged (pun intended). Yet still they are under the radar of many of their potential audience. Having two years standing still didn’t help, firstly because of Covid and secondly because of the bassist up and leaving. There were other things going on, but that’s the principal reason. They auditioned in 3 stages over 5 months for a new bassist and the result? A 20 year old wunderkind with more followers on KZfaq than the band who fits them perfectly in every respect, both musically and personally. They’re back, they’re the best, and they spent the hiatus becoming better at being the best.

The new bassist, Fami, has brought a new energy to the group. Love the new sound. They're coming to the US...no where near me though.

The Lovebites musicians have completely sold out both live concerts (2 x 2000 visitors) on March 11 and 12, 2023 through advance bookings alone. No tickets will be released to the general public. What a terrific comeback !!! Unfortunately, probably no larger halls in Tokyo were free in time. But it may also be that the girls are too modest. The five girls would certainly have sold out 2x 4000 seats. The people love them.🤘LOVEbites 🤘

They are five maestros. They used to call Lovebites the best female band, but they are simply the best band now. Beethoven would bang his head on this tune.

Fami (new bass guitar player) is a genius on the bass guitar. I am so much looking forward to her new creations and contributions. Lovebites already had their engines running at full speed, when Miho was with them. With Fami, they might just take off musically, into an assitional dimension of creativity and joy. Stunning and yet it will be even better LIVE and pure perfection. The new bassist, Fami has added an intensity and helped elevate the band to another level, which I didn't think was possible. Now we wait for the album and hopefully tours of the European summer metal tours (Wacken watch out) and then tours of the Americas. Haruna has changed her hair color, Fami's got a Rockstar hairdo and Midori is ripped (!!). Midori been competed in some Fitness contests. Asami got married and Miyako had a baby and got married.
