Is this one of the best metal records of the last decade? Yes, yes it is.

Amazing album. Very awesome score with the Judgement Day vinyl. My name is in the "Very Special Thanks To" section in the notes of the Judgement Day vinyl along with a lot of great members of the Lovebites community 🤘🐺🤘

I never believe in such nonsense! Feels like one is looking for attention. I can say that I am going to see them live in London and Milan, but that does not mean I am big fan. I am taking the opportunity to see them before I can't and visit two great cities and be a tourist at the same time! If I come across as a cynic, it is because I am! I have heard it and seen it all before! 🥱

Haruna's cymbal work is the most creative I've ever heard. The accents she adds to the solo's and asami's vocals add so much to the songs.
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow3 ай бұрын
Hell yeah, she has such a unique style of playing. I really like how she accents her cymbal hits and still has time for twirls and spinning her star shaped cymbals.

I’m a Japanese fan of LOVEBITES, and I'm proud that someone overseas m proud that someone overseas like you appreciates them so much.

My growing Japanese Spotify playlist led me to this album upon its debut last year. Over the next few months I came to realize that LOVEBITES had become my new favorite band; not only of the moment, but joining Led Zeppelin and Van Halen in my all-time hall of excitement and enjoyment. The level of anticipation of seeing them live in Atlanta this September is bladder threatening!!

You’re very lucky to be able to see them. I hope they’ll tour AUS someday soon. Our schedules have never crossed whenever I book my Japan trips. 😭

JD is an incredible album. Have the cd. SSS is the most incredible song I've ever heard, period. To think Miyako wrote it for Glory, glory to the world EP and it didn't make the cut. Mind-blowing song. Great review! So excited for new material from them! 🤘

Oh hell yeah! To craft songs like this is one hell of a feat for anyone and here they are like “hey check out these songs with 283 different riffs in them!” 😂 such a great band. Love this record heaps.

Since Lovebites was coming back from a member change and a long hiatus i was anxious as to how their sound could be affected, but as soon as i listened to the first song We Are the Resurrection during the listening party they did i knew this was going to be an amazing album and they delivered!! It became my favorite album of theirs so far, so many songs became instant favorites for me, i spent pretty much the whole of 2023 listening to this album, i just couldnt stop playing it 😁 I am really looking forward to their next release, Fami should have a much bigger role in the writing, from what i know she joined after most of the songs were already written. I am REALLY looking forward to what comes next and as far as i understand we might get a release this year!! 🤘🐺 And yes Haruna somehow seems to have "leveled up" even more, she sounds absolutely amazing on this!! 🔥

This is my most frequently listened to album since its appearance in the collection. I listen to him at every opportunity. And this is not in the car or on a run, but at home, on stationary equipment. I sit and listen, not distracted by anything. This is despite the fact that I am not a fan of metal. From metal, I only listen to bands like Dream Theater or Animals as Leaders. I have almost everything that is released by Lovebites. And all the releases, both live and studio, are excellent. But this album stands alone. He is simply amazing and seems to me to be something beyond the realm of possibility.

Bravehearted was written by Haruna. It was initially written for her former band Destrose with Japanese lyrics. Asami and Haruna wrote the English lyrics. There is a EP made from Unobtainium that includes this track performed by LB in Japanese. It is available on Spotify though.

is a great album....fast as hell....and that is main reason why "Electric Pentagram" is better for me. I miss the Epilogue or the Serenade.
@1970Phoenix3 ай бұрын
"Dissonance" is my favourite song on the album.
@1970Phoenix3 ай бұрын
"Judgement Day" is an awesome album, and I agree it is one of the best albums in the last decade. Not sure I'd agree its a "thrash" album however. Anyway, I still think their previous album "Electric Pentagram" is a slightly better album, however I realise this really just does come down to personal taste.
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow3 ай бұрын
I feel it qualifies… it definitely has all the elements of a thrash album. It’s fast and has tons of riffs, breakdowns, etc. maybe Asami doesn’t sing like Bobby Blitz, Steve Souza or Chuck Billy but musically I think they’re there. They have a lot mixed in to their sound. I know Metallica and Helloween are huge influences on their sound so the thrash influence is definitely there. At the end of the day, fans of metal will debate over genres forever and it doesn’t actually really matter in the grand scheme of things. As long as you enjoy it, who cares about anything else. Electric Pentagram rules and needs another vinyl reissue.

My whole channel is here to tell people about the bands I do like, not the bands I don’t like. There’s far too much negativity in the world and on KZfaq as it is. I don’t have time for that. So just wanna spread the awesomeness to whoever’s interested. This band rules. But you should hear the way I rave about VENOM or Motörhead. 😂😂😂

It's a bit cruel to pick a favorite album in their discography... JD is spectacular, but if pressed, I'd choose Awakening From Abyss. Every album is like a phase of your relationship with the love of your life, and AFA is when I first met Lovebites... Love at first sight, the kind you immediately drop to your knees to ask the girl to marry you lol. JD is when you're in a long happy relationship with her and she surprises you by announcing she's expecting (and the baby is Fami). Like, future already seemed promising but got much better... Lovebites is for good🤘🐺🤘
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow3 ай бұрын
That is probably the most interesting philosophical take I have ever read about any band ever. Hahaha 🤘🏻
@cepho83493 ай бұрын
Awakening from Abyss is arguably still their most varied album.

It seems to be common to classify metal music into "Thrash M", "Power M", "Symphonic M", "Death M", etc. However, I don't feel that there is any special meaning to such classification work. However, LOVEBITES proudly introduces their music as HEAVY METAL. So...if I were to create a new classification name for metal sounds, I think it would be a good idea to create a category called "RARE METAL" just for LOVEBITES. Hahaha... ---------- from Nippon *This is a text using Google Translate. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.

I believe that if they did more tours they would become even more famous...let's give an example because they toured together...... Dragonforce........they finished their tour in America and now I see that they are touring again as support .........Bands who are not so famous do tours in Europe as support with 20-30 concerts......that's how you become famous.....someone will see you for the first time... ..if you are good he will become a fan.....
@CaptainAfterland3 ай бұрын
You're not wrong but don't forget that both Asami and Miyako have only just recently become mothers. I have no doubt they would receive support from their bandmates and management but it would be a lot to expect them to do an extensive tour at this point in their lives.
