MONTREANNA and Manny started off as high school sweethearts before splitting when they were still at school. Years later, Montreanna found out that Manny had been sentenced to life in jail. Speaking to Love Don't Judge, she revealed: "It was very hard for me. I understood that he didn't deserve that and he doesn't deserve that. I was just looking at his charges and looking at the situation and was like, that's not him, what's going on?" When she bumped into his cousin, Montreanna asked them to get Manny to call her and weeks later, he phoned. Montreanna gushed: "It felt like my heart was literally beating out of my chest. I just felt every single butterfly you could have on this earth in my stomach." The pair got married at Manny's jail after he proposed to Montreanna over the phone. However, Manny's current sentence means that he's behind bars for life and many question why Montreanna is sticking with her man. Today her mum, Comanetta, will be coming over to share her own brutal opinions on the relationship. Comanetta said: "When she first told me that she was getting back together with him. I was real sceptical. You need to think about the reality." Despite the challenges and judgement that the couple face, Montreanna refuses to let the hate dictate their relationship. Reflecting, she said: "There's nothing wrong to me with loving somebody. It doesn't matter where he's at, where he resides. I love someone."

@@robertchapman160this happened to someone I knew. She worked in the same building I worked in. Her husband committed larceny/theft, but it was federal because he stole a government issued computer. He went to prison for 2 years and right before he got out, his mom died. Within a few weeks of his full release from a halfway house, he killed her, dumped her body and left her. Thank goodness, he’s in prison.

This is the most important statement. Once you have worked in a prison , jail or detention center, it some things you cannot unsee. The most strongest male , toughest male , have been compromised or has had his way with someone. It can be a deputy, inmate, cook, or anyone who is willing to satisfy him at any cost. Men have several women on their visitation list in rotation. You need to understand that no matter how much you love him his commitment is with himself.

I dated a man in prison and it was horrible. He is extremely selfish and was constantly putting me down. I did so much for him, put money on his books, wrote letters, visited him etc just for him to say I've done nothing for him. He's been out for a few months and has done absolutely nothing to help me and he has physically assaulted me. Not only that but he has been with other women. I would never advise a young woman to date/marry a man in prison. If the shoe was on the other foot, would he do the same for you? 🤷‍♀️ Ladies don't waste your time!

It's the delusion for me. She kept saying "WHEN he's out" when he's currently serving a LIFE sentence. Even with a successful appeal, a new trial and acquittal, you're looking at SEVERAL more years. This beautiful young woman is wasting her best years on this man. Prison relationships rarely last, she's pretty and has young children to set an example for. She can definitely do better than this.

@@finezzer acquittal means a defendant couldn't be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. In this case, whether the scenario she imagines her husband coming home is from eventual parole in several years (assuming life with possibilty of parole, we don't know what he's in for), appeal/new trial/ acquittal, or exoneration (all possible, but long shots and could take years) why willfully subject yourself and your children to such mental, emotional, financial, physical, struggle? Ultimately, she's an adult, it's her life, she'll do what she wants.

The length of a "life" sentence varies by state and depends on whether it is a sentence of life WITHOUT the possibility of parole which means the person will serve the remainder of their natural life in prison. Life WITH the possibility of parole means they have to serve a minimum (that minimum is what varies by state and is up to the judge to state (ie: serve a min of 15, 20, 25, 30, etc) before becoming eligible for parole based on good behavior and whether the parole board determines the person has been rehabilitated and won't pose a threat to society. Only 20% of all inmates in the US are serving actual life sentences for the remainder of their natural lives.

The person I was in love with I was with for 7 years and he ended up cheating on me with a minor and got sentenced to 15 to 24 years in prison. It was the hardest thing for me to accept and I loved him but once he went to prison especially for what he did I couldn’t do it no more. There is a reason someone goes to prison for that long and 99% of the time it’s because they did something that is absolutely terrible… so I hope that she realizes that even if she thinks she knows a person and thinks he is not bad doesn’t mean he ain’t. I never thought the man I was with that was so in love with me and couldn’t stand to be away from me would ever do what he did to me but he did.

Really that’s it!?!?, that’s the sentence he got for sexually abusing a minor, 15 years for him to possibly get out of prison and do it to more minors, that is the most RIDICULOUS sentence a judge could ever give to such a perverted, disgusting pathetic excuse of a human being, that victim will forever have to live with the fact that their innocence was snatched away by the filthy monster that RAPED them, mentally scarred for life, but no the prisoners still get to live theirs feeling proud about what they did when they walk out of prison after only spending few years behind bars, the justice system them these days is just so blind when it comes to the gravity of a sex offending defendant actions and really neglect the severe impact it has on a victim’s life, in fact it’s so blind that they think 24 years is an adequate enough sentence but really that is just completely useless for justice on account of the fact that it wouldn’t deter the offender from committing the same crimes again instead just treating it like some minor crime, they should just give child sex abusers a life sentence with no parole set, no minimum terms, no chances for appeal, absolutely no opportunities for them to try and wriggle their way out of a lifelong time in prison or failing that bring the death penalty on them that way they’ll know what it’s like to feel helpless and in pain like their victims did.

In her husband's case, he and other codefendents m^rdered a man and tried to m^rder the woman, but she somehow survived. As someone who has been in the woman who survived's exact same position, I feel like this man should never get out. He sentenced the surviving victim to a lifetime of pain (physically and mentally), complications and pain from the wounds she has to live with forever, unimaginable grief over losing her man in such a traumatic way right in front of her, the constant torture and torment of PTSD, etc. Not to mention the man who didn't survive. His family will never get to see him again. In short, when you take someone else's life, you forfeit the right to your own. I've seen women like her before. Usually on that show "Evil Lives Here" talking about how thought this man was so great and couldn't ever believe he was capable of being a m^rderer, serial k^ller, etc. Exact same personal issues, probably some trauma in her past or upbringing, probably not the healthiest view of men or relationships, but she won't see reality until she's ready unfortunately. Hopefully at some point, she'll realize she's been sweet talked into believing he's a better person than he actually is. They don't just lock you up for m^rder without evidence. If that were the case, my loved one's case (the one i mentioned in which i was in the same position as the surviving woman) would be solved right now. This lady is all in the comments defending her prison boo, so I hope she sees this and takes a minute to imagine what the victims went through.

@@itsmontreanna You didn't share many facts, so had to go off of what I could find online. And I'm more concerned about the surviving victim who was also almost m^rdered. Also, if he's having you put money on his books or commissary or you're the one paying for phone calls, I suggest you stop sending money for a couple months to see what happens. Because most of those men keep a woman on the outside while in prison long term for that reason and for company. Just make sure you're not getting used. You deserve the best, and you deserve a healthy man who is present for you and your kids. Not someone who was involved in a brutal m^rder. Even if he didn't pull the trigger, he was involved. He is part of the reason the victim is dead and the surviving victim is most likely suffering. You can look at it however you want, but facts are facts. Either way, I wish you and your family the best.

@@breezystl777 facts ARE facts, which it is clear you dont know. If you did I promise you would not be saying that, im sure you didnt see court documents otherwise again you wouldnt be saying he played a part in this. But I dont share many facts and I have my reasons 🤍 which will come out later! 🤍 until then. You have to stop projecting what you went thru on other people. You dont know how ANYONE who was involved in the case feels. Because you are just not them.
@breezystl777
@breezystl777 4 ай бұрын
@@itsmontreanna I did read the court documents. They're available online. And I wasn't trying to project my experience. I was trying to get you to put yourself in the shoes of the victims and consider what your husband participated in putting then through and taking one's life. This is honestly just more sad than anything. And like I said. Stop sending money for a couple months as a test. See if that is part of why he's keeping you around. Better to know than to have no idea and think it's just "love". I'm sorry if I came off as harsh though. If anything, as a woman, I'm trying to look out for you and trying to get you to at least consider that this man isn't the knight in shining armor you think he is. If I'm wrong, cool. That would actually be a relief to see this not be what it seems to be. But this isn't about what I think. Just be careful and protect your kids and yourself, as well as your heart. And don't just believe everything he tells you. Like I said, I really do wish you and yours the best. 💜

Easy to love someone when you don't have to live with each other and navigate the messiness of life. Not so easy when they get out and you realize you're legally tied to a murderer.

The Quad-City Times reports that 22-year-old Tristin Alderman and 21-year-old D’marithe Culbreath were sentenced Thursday in Scott County District Court. A jury found the pair guilty in December of first-degree murder and other felony counts in the death of 20-year-old Brady Tumlinson. Each received additional prison terms for the other counts that will run at the same time as their life sentences. Prosecutors say Tumlinson was killed during a robbery Sept. 22, 2017, at his home in Davenport that also involved several other people. Another man, 22-year-old Nakita Wiseman, was sentenced in December to 35 years in prison for burglary and robbery counts in the case..

I never would judge you.. this is your life and if you are happy with it that’s all that matters. God has your back and your man is going to be the man he needs to be for you and your children no cap.. I support you 100% my man is locked up right now and guess what everything he says he’s going to do when he gets home I believe. I’m claiming nothing but greatness an and happiness over your relationship.. keep telling your story because it keeps giving me hope that me and my man will be back reunited sooner rather than later ❤️❤️❤️

No one in jail ever deserves to be there according to friends and family…. I bet whoever they hurt and their friends and family would think very differently …. There always “a good person” good people don’t get life sentences …. Reality isn’t what you apparently are living in.

I totally can relate to you love. I was willing to wait for my boyfriend who’s in prison for life, until I discovered that he wants to be friends with all these Instagram models on Facebook. I broke up with him over that today. I can’t be loyal to that. I pray that your man is released by a miracle of God for you.

I'm confused at the part where people change because he wasn't a thug he was a nice guy but then he did some thug stuff and I imagine a guy's dead because of him but he changed into a good guy again? I've never seen women so delusional.

My best friend‘s parents got married while her dad was doing a dime in the pen at Folsom and when he got out they were solid until the day he died many decades later. I hope your man get to come home when his debt to society has been paid and when the good lord sees fit. Stay strong and true to you and do what you got to do and ignore all the haters because after all love is not deterred or limited by the walls of a prison.
