@@moondust7027 obviously, i said they are very toxic, but a fictional toxic relationship can be entertaining and fun to watch when is written in a comedic tone and the actors have great chemistry. as far as is not super romantized or portrayed as positive and good, and the show certainly doesn't, that's ok. ( And as far as one does not romatize it either).

I love how they went to enemies to lovers back to enemies. I hope S3 they just come to the senses and just be happy. I also hope in S3 they just rule together and make decisions together cause Peter is great at the social events and such and Catherine is great at the Talking and listening part.

In the second season, it became quite clear how two complete each other, as lovers and rulers. Catherine, you need Peter, and it's not just in her bed, so I hope season three can make you understand that governing together is the best. And let Peter not die.

i just want this show to get the recognition it deserves!! it's just as good as bridgerton and other periodic shows out there, maybe even better than some! i can't imagine the thought of having to wait for a year for the thirf season. season 1 is all fun but season 2 is literally a masterpiece 😍

Pink wrote this song for them, she told me. To be honest, i don't know if I would ship them is this was a purely dramatic show. The humour and the satire helps me take the attempted murders less seriously. But after s2, I believe they're each other's best and worst reflection. Not quite the same people but similar enough to really get each other.

It's so ironic that in the first half of season 1 they don't like each other and can't stand each other after already being married but after the Coup and after Peter abdicated his throne they both start realizing they are perfect for each other and are meant to be together plus they bring out the best in each other and they both know each other better than they know themselves!! Perfect match!! They are each other's half indeed!!

Now that I have evaluated their situation, its like he is starting/having feelings for her but doesn't want to admit it, but I can say not when she was soft and kind, when she became a strong, intellectual, brave woman that's when his feelings started growing. I am not saying she wasn't strong or brave back than he just had to test her and now she lets it out as she should have from the beginning.

My hope for an happy ending for them is they end up faking his death and give him a new identy as Potemkin (although I think he is the inspiration for Grigor) or Zubov (Catherine's real last lover) though I don't think it is going to happen.

He was suposed to die during the coup or shorthly after but they may still kill him. Orlo's brother was supposily the one who did it and we saw this season that Orlo and Catherine have very different views of Peter now so he or someone of his family may go behind her back and kill him.

as much as i loved and miss leo, i think peter and catherine are such an amazing reflection to one another. they have such different qualities that it almost works perfectly - minus the attempted murders on each other lol

In his fantasy she said to him that he wouldn't respect or love her anymore if she didn't kill him, I think Catherine's character in that fantasy is purely Peter's emotions and thoughts so I don't think this would affect their relationship that much, he could've killed her when he saw but insted he hugged and comforted her, although I could be wrong :)
