I totally agree with this mssg i too had the revelation that God is my Head/Husband and i still find myself praying for a spouse simply because some of us desire a husband because of loneliness and not wanting to fornicate or indulge in sexual immorality the bible also says its better to marry then to burn 1 corinthians 7:8-9 Also Genesis 2:18 Its not good for man to be alone i will make him a help meet.. i personally honor marriage and a family dynamic but im learning to respect God’s decision over my life if he says yes then fine if its no then fine understanding that his way is whats best for me.

The best thing I learned in 2023 was to always put God before any man, family, child, place, or thing etc, that would be idolatry and I don't think God wants us to ever put anything above him. Ladies keep God in the center of everything and all shall be revealed, wait on the lord and never lean on your own understanding.

This was so good. I was watching a sermon about unforgiveness before you even posted this and it was put on my heart to forgive my brothers dad and my dad. While praying and asking God to help rid this unforgiveness and hatred for my heart I started praying that I don’t know what it is like to have an earthly father and I have a bad relationship with men because I truly don’t know what it is to know a man or have a father and praying about me wanting to have a husband and my own beautiful family in the future. Marriage is Definitely a Good thing, as long as its with the right person. The (Both) of you must put God First, then you must spend time with that person, I would say at least a Year, getting to know that person before you decide to "tie the knot" with each other.

I soooooo needed to hear this. I literally broke up with my boyfriend for not taking the lead in our relationship and future. Been praying for that Godly husband and relationship. I get what point you were trying to make but Just remember…God is not your HUSBAND but your FATHER! 😊 And your Father will protect you, guide you and all of that but God gave Man the role of a husband to a wife for a particular purpose and reason and we can’t forget that it’s not good for man to be alone. A Father and a Husband are two different roles and God is our Abba Father. All you have to do is work on being the woman God called you to be so that when he brings/aligns your mate? You both emulate the love of Christ through your marriage. God is your Father in Heaven, and Christ is our Lord and Saviour.

I had that exact revelation awhile ago, with those exact verses. I use to do word of the day, one night I said the marriage vowels to Jesus, the next day when I opened word of the day, the marriage vowels were repeated back to me, I stupidly went down a wrong path and married someone who has turned out to be a complete narcissistic nightmare and God did warn me too, I just didnt see. Jesus is all we need, let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called 1st Corinthians 7:20, I wish I had, but I am trusting God to work all things for good.

You know how I know this is for me I’m reading the book of Samuel right now and read what you read yesterday but I don’t feel like I put having a husband before God I feel like it was a desire though for sure!!! But I’m dropping this desire for sure but I had no problem waiting on the Lord for whatever he wanted to bring to me ! I just didn’t want to get a husband the world way I wanted one the way God would send it!I wanted my man Of God to Glorify God with me let me tell you what I would pray for! Thank you, sister. I’ve been so weary of the kingdom spouse talk online. It just makes me feel like I’m waiting to be able to do the work of the kingdom. The Lord is my husband. I have what I need. He might even be a husband that is poor and we’re going to be poor because “Blessed are the poor theirs is the kingdom of God.” The rich young ruler walked away sad because he wasn’t willing to let go of his stuff to marry God. Marriage brings sacrificial suffering but we just think it brings someone to fight our battles. “You will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen” - ugh.

Well this is profoundly something... I had stumbled across this right after I been through with the twin flame segment and actually put a pause on being with anyone lately. Then this came to me, and oh my I was very much startled with many thoughts and emotions. For one it seems to be so infinite and amazing to know of that and receive that? However I thought to become of him being my father as too he already has a bride which I would not want to disrespect. There is other underlying things on my behalf where I could not be positioned to be his wife for I have my own sidelines to still learning, healing and growing where I don't want to jeopardize anything of it. Also with all the other attention from other women that stumbles upon this- I don't want to be a sister wife. I stand firm in being the only wife as I would be the same for my husband. And most importantly overall it has to do with respect. As much as my path and mind is different, I still care and respect him at a high degree as I would want the same. And I do not wish to say or make up things where not receiving confirmation or his behalf on all of this. So I will take a stand back from this and love him from a distance. And if it's true all along then i would not surely pay for my cost of thoughts. If it's not true, then cool I guess. May the bride of christ be divinely made for him though I'm sure she is beautiful and great 🖐🏽🤍

This has convicted me

First and foremost beautiful video, You made amazing points however, I would say some people may interpret your video incorrectly. So your title can be misleading if people read the bible but don’t know how to read the bible in context & intent in hebrew/greek. Clarity is great for conversations like this Yes God is Sovereign. He will forever be our leader. God is so intentional in this text. Let me break it down. 1 Samuel 8:1-9 in its context talks about Isreal requesting a King. Throughout everything the nation has been through they still haven’t realized that God is their King. Their idolatry/coveting pushes them to make a request for a king (their eyes are blind because of sin). Yes your correct on this point. The text is highlighting that the desires of humans apart from God is wicked. In likeness we are like Israel: forgetful, covetous, and sinful 1 Samuel 10:18- God is reminding Israel how He showed up as King for them but since their hearts are set on a king, then he gives them their desires. But heres the point, God Chooses Saul - which means he is a descendant of Adam which foreshadows Sauls fall to come. 1 Samuel 10:23 foreshadows this fall as pride by describing his stature. So yes your point is correct when we try to replace God with a human/people because they will disappoint because simply they aren’t God. Samuel in whole shows 3 things: God’s grace, God’s sovereignty by using Israels very own rejection of him (God) to Saul on his complete disobedience, and the foreshadowing of the Gospel and Promise in Genesis for a King who will never fail which is Jesus Christ. Isaiah 54 is about restoration for the nation of Israel. God is releasing a covenant of peace in Isaiah 54! Isaiah 54:5 conveys God's faithfulness to Israel in the likeness of a righteous husband to his Wife. "Is", is italicized indicating it’s a symbol not something to take literally. God uses marriage as a symbolism/metaphor in the old and New Testament to define the importance of being complete/one with God (Genesis 2:24, Ephesian 5:32, Mark 10:8-9). Look at the trinity. They are equal in nature but different in function. Marriage is for us to join with God and his perfect, pleasing will not to be equal with him. Marriage is the perfect way to show God’s Glory/Sovereignty. Marriage is unity. It’s an invitation to become one, just like Jesus invites us to be one with him. There’s no reason to reject him because he is everything we need (Matthew 22:1-14) So if you’re saying that God is our husband romantically then you’re incorrect, which I don’t think you’re implying. God is not our spouse in that context and he will never be. I’m afraid that people would look at this beautiful video of yours and project their trauma of being alone to the opposite end of the spectrum as romantically viewing God a romantic partner. Putting their own construct of marriage into the word of God and neglecting the Gospel. Jesus came to reconcile us to the Living God, it is by his grace through faith that we are saved. There's no amount of work we can do to get a gift from God. But if you’re saying God is our husband from the lens of how God using this as a symbol/relation of divine unity then yes you’re absolutely correct. Because Jesus (bridegroom) is coming back for a pure, righteous, and holy Bride (the church) in his second coming that are ready (2 Corinthians 11:2, Revelation 19:7, Matthew 25:1-13). As we wait for the bridegroom we are to remain faithful with concreted hearts. We are completely dependent on him, to trust him fully in our hearts, mind, and soul. Sister you did great in this video. You are very encouraging and passionate for Christ. The message is on point. I would encourage you to next time to further explain the text in its context. However I look forward to more content & growth! To everyone reading this God is still GOOD regardless if he gives you, your desires or not. He knows exactly what we need.
