My clearest Tama memory is when I was like 8 or 10 and I went to the ROM with my dad, but I wasn't allowed to bring my Tama. It died, but I didn't know that there was an reset button. I buried it. Somewhere, in my backyard, it's still there. When archeologists dig up whatever my backyard becomes hundreds of years from now, I hope they find it and it goes to the museum.

Back when it was first popular in the states, my grandmother bought tamagotchis for my two younger brothers and a tamagotchi angel for me (I assume because I was a girl?) I remember being a bit annoyed, like the angel wasn't a "real tamagotchi" or something, plus I was tired of getting the "girl" version of everything. I was surprised to learn years later that the Angel was a more difficult to find version, though I was never able to play it again, because our tamagotchis have all mysteriously disappeared and have been lost for years. I still go through boxes of things at my parents' house sometimes and look for them, I kinda miss it. I also remember when they developed a smartphone version that simulated the original tamagotchi and the angel, but they stopped supporting it soon after releasing it. The angel version was rather broken. I can't believe it's taken bandai so long to give us an english tamagotchi with a color screen. I kinda feel like getting into the new ones, it looks like fun!

Oh man I never had the attention span to take care of the digital pets people got me. I was gifted a couple off brand (Nano Pets I think they were) and I just couldn't keep up. It's so neat seeing how cute these are!

My Japanese accent is COMPLETELY different to my normal Australian (with apparently heavy American) accent. I still say "tamagotchi" even though I know the proper pronunciation "タマゴッチ" - I always bob my head when I say something with a small tsu in it 😂 reminds me to "eat" the sound?? Hard to explain. I so want one of those wonder garden tamagotchi!

I'd love for them do more Digimon stuff in the states. I only just recently learned Digimon was made as a "male" Tamagotchi franchise. I was never one for Tamagotchi, but I'd totally attempt it if I could raise a Digimon or however the heck they did the Digimon toys.

One of my friends found their parents' old tamagotchi and they let me have it. It was in, like, the worst possible condition. The pixels weren't showing up so I had to ethier squint to see them or tip the tamagotchi sideways and the buttons would not respond unless I shoved down the button with my finger until there was an imprint on my thumb or use a mini screw driver to play with it. I mean, it's still playable and i still have but it's not in good condition.

I tried running all of my Tamagotchi‘s once before and by the time a day ended all of them have died I mean I’m a good Tamagotchi caregiver I care for them quite frequently for about six hours they all stayed alive I just spent time sitting there feeding them cleaning up the poop giving the medicine and doing some other things that my other Tamagotchi‘s like the new additions needed such as the timer walkie I don’t really use it that much but I didn’t need to use it for this challenge that I tried because I knew I’d be stuck at my desk with them all because I didn’t have time to walk around to sort out my other Tamagotchi so I didn’t use that one but the rest after six hours they died and yes I do have the ocean Tamagotchi and it did die first and I guess it kind of set off alarm bells for all the other ones to perish go back to their own planets or whatever they do the only Tamagotchi I had left at the end was in my perfect Tamagotchi on wonder garden and yes I did give them names to know who is who am I Tamagotchi on wonder garden is sky because she has a sky kind of shell I don’t even know how that happened and how all of them died but I guess I’m a bad Tamagotchi mum anyway I tried this challenge a couple days ago and it was successful I’m still caring for my Tamagotchi‘s right now there is my Tamagotchi meet Tamagotchi pics my Tamagotchi on wonder garden Tamagotchi on my end Tamar and my Tamagotchi version connect six those are the only ones that are alive at the moment but that’s my story and anyone that wants to try this be prepared because I forgot to set the timers on my Tamagotchi’s this last challenge that I’m still doing right now so I have sleepless nights but I did change everyone’s times and now I don’t have any sleepless nights but if you’re prepared for mayhem do it my house is filled with lots of beeping and it drives my dog‘s mad every time they hear a beep from my Tamagotchi they bark and scratch and do whatever anyway don’t try this please I’m warning you unless you want mayhem and madness this is seriously why they created Tamagotchi the people that really want kids anyway do not try this unless you want a big family do not my last warning

Does anyone recommend Wonder Garden? I know it's actually stripped down in comparison to its Japanese counterpart the Fantasy version.
