😂😂 But you're right, I feel like he's anxious to tell anybody yet. For instance when Nubsib said to the auntie in part 1, that Gene is his boyfriend, he didn't seem angry, but rather frightened. Only after auntie reacted normal about it, his expression softened.

Can I just say how much I love genes character. I honestly could say that about almost all the characters in this series, but I really love gene. He's not only really relatable to me as he is a writer and an introvert like me, but he also is a very mature person when it comes to relationships and boundaries. I also love all the little things he does, like that thing at the end when he made sib think he was going to kiss him, but he just blew in his face. That's such a realistic coupley thing to do and I love it. I also really like how he's not weak and we are reminded of that as he tells sib he can take care of himself. I see too often the stereotype of one guy being the tough one who takes care of the other guy who is fragile in a way. While that dynamic is cute, it forces a relationship of two guys into the heteronormative roles of girl and boy (which in itself is wrong. Gosh I love taffy and tum so much in this series T~T). I love this series for breaking so many stereotypes and calling out toxic, harmful behavior that so many romance stories deem romantic.

I really like that part where they were having a meal together, it was a really good scene. And honestly at first I thought Sib was a bit obsessed with Gene but now he's just so respectful and understanding, I totally love that side of him and it looks like they will have a healthy relationship like that~

Nueng's conversation with Gene, was something that he needed to hear, regarding his budding relationship with Nusib. Nusib probably told his brother, about his feelings for Gene years beforehand, so Nueng was able to understand, why his brother made the choices in his life, to be apart of Gene's future.

Up's portrayal of Gene never fails to impress me! His tiny voice crack at 3:17 was emotionally well placed. And then him clearing his throat to not let Sib notice he was about to cry. I was hoping Nubsib would notice but I guess boy was busy getting himself ready to be Gene's new neighbour. Haha...Also, how cute was Gene's pouty voice wanting to see his future boyfriend's room when it's totally obvious he just misses him & wants to see Sib's beautiful face. Lol!

nueng is a bit nosy and wanting gene to come out to his and sib’s parents is too much for gene, especially when he’s just started to realise and be comfortable about his feelings for sib. forcing someone to come out isn’t it. give them some time, let them know when it’s the right time to tell other people around them. let THEM be comfortable with their identity. not everyone is as open about who they are so easily. it isn’t fair.
