I like how Nubsib covered Gene's mouth instead of pushing Aoey away. In most of the BLs the lead pushes the other person or hits them because they are getting closer to the person they love but here Sib handled it maturely. He just blocked Aoey and stood there and didn't hit or push Aoey nor he aggressively took Gene away, he respected the boundary and about the drink that Aoey got for Gene, he decided to drink himself instead of burdening Gene. I love non-toxic leads.

Ugh, I love Aoey’s character and the way it was written. Not good, Not bad, but a broken guy. I see myself in him. He was treated like the bad guy so he decided to play his part. I see comments arguing because he rejected Mhok but when Aoey looks at him he probably sees the son their parents wish they had like he said in a few episodes ago. He’s a broken person who was forced to believe he’s not a good son or a good person. I empathize with him and I hope he realizes how damaging for him and others his actions are in the next few episodes 🥲

I honestly really appreciate aoey being a grey character. He's not a character you despise, as much as you dislike his actions, you can't help but feel sorry for him.

Why is anybody talking about how respectful NubSib is? In many of the BL series i watched so far, the dudes get really mad and sickfully jealous when other person tries to hit on their love interest, -it's over romanticized, and it's not romantic at all-. But Sib Sib just took Gene away from Aoey without arguing or making any scandal. Finally a BL drama with non toxic characters. 👏

No matter how many times I watch this series but Aoey like Gene instead of Sib still shocks me. Also him ignoring Mhok till the end breaks me 💔 He has Tiffy and Mhok who truly loves him

U remember guys, the day when Gene first came into the casting we’re they were all sitting together and Nubsib saw Gene scribbling something on the paper. Before that I saw Aoey looking things about Gene and looked at Gene too🤭…that made me think Aoey likes Gene.

Well that was one plot twist I really wasn’t expecting??? But also weirdly makes sense, I never really got the vibe that Aoey actually liked Nubsib and Nubsib is never nice to him whereas Gene has actually been super kind to him (and he’s adorable who wouldn’t fall in love with him). Totally doesn’t give him the right to be so pushy and ignoring Gene’s protests against the situation though obviously, am glad Nubsib stepped in 😊

I hate it when people try to force others to drink alcohol. Not quite sure why Gene nearly drank it cause that was so sus of Aoey, I would’ve assumed immediately it was drugged or something..

aoey's trauma and coping mechanisms hit HARD.. way too relatable edit bc i feel like this may be misconstrued: i am not advocating for his behavior nor am i saying i am the same in all ways, i just appreciate that his character was so well flushed out in regards to how deeply it can affect someone's perception of affection when they are rejected by their family

Bruce has done INCREDIBLE playing Aoey! Bravo young sir. Bravo! On a side note, Sib looks hella good in an all black suit and Gene looks absolutely amazing in that blue sweater 🤯🔥🥵

For everyone saying that Aoey treated Mhok badly honestly it makes sense. If I was Aoey I wouldn’t like Mhok either. He knows Mhok has been keeping tabs on him and reporting back to his sister. When they were at the family dinner and his father kept insulting him he never said anything in his defense and when Aoey tried to speak up for himself he tried to stop him. And his sister literally admitted the only reason she wanted him to come back was because she didn’t like the attention she was getting from the parents and not because she actually cared about him. Then Aoey called her selfish but before he could really go in Mhok stopped him. At this point Mhok has done NOTHING to show he cares about Aoey, but has actually done the opposite. All of his actions so far have showed that he sided with his sister and the rest of his family. So obviously when he says he cares about him he thinks it’s all a scam.

I think the reason why aeoy refuses to recognise mhok is cause he’s lost trust from people who should’ve been there for him but because of what happened he searches it off the wrong people. He sees this tenderness in gene which is so secure that he becomes envious enough to want him.

First time I've ever commented on a series I've watched. But gotta say I love how Aoey is written, and how well his actor portrays Aoey's emotions. It seems like he as a self destructive way of coping. He hurts others before he gets hurt again. From his birthday dinner we already see that his life made him what he is now. He was originally the favorite child and pressured already. He was betrayed by an ex who scammed him and ran away, who he probably thought was the one. His sister betrayed him by outting him to his family to become the new favorite child out of jealousy. His father wants nothing to do with him, and his mom barely supports him. So pretty much that's why he feels his own family doesn't care about him. His sister only invited him to come home to try and make piece with their parents to take the pressure off her. He liked Sib probably as a way to have at least one thing go right in his life, and he told Gene about his feelings for Sib to get Gene to step back maybe. But when Gene got feelings for Sib, Aoey took it as another betrayal as he said "you knew I liked him and still liked him anyway." and calling Gene a snake. Along with the fact that he knows Sib likes Gene is like a double betrayal in one. So he tried hurting Gene and/or Sib by trying to sabotage their relationship. Now if what tipsy Aoey said is right. He probably moved his feelings to Gene, since Gene is pretty much the last person who's really nice to him and is possibly his last straw in finding someone who cares about him. When it comes to Mhok and Tiffy. Tiffy is pretty much the sister he wish he had. But in the moment he probably wasn't thinking about Tiffy as she's his manager still. With Mhok he doesn't want to like him, or believe that he cares, because Mhok was spying on him for his sister, and probably holds distaste for him because he sees Mhok as the child his family wanted as they treat him better than their own son. I hope to see Aoey be able to realize Mhok is genuine and does care about him and accepts his feelings, or at the least be able to move on and get in a better mental state. This was longer than I expected.

Since nobody mentioned it, I really like that Aoey, a more feminine cute guy, is into someone quite and also cute like Gene. Mostly the cute guys are into the more masculine types for example sib. So I actually liked that plot twist and that it broke some stereotypes along with it. I would like to see a drama where people with genes and aoeys personalities would fall for each other.

No te voy a mentir, pero es el plot twist que más me ha encantado, aunque lo sabía desde el principio, me gustó cómo se desarrolló. Admiro mucho al actor de Aoey, expresa muy bien cada sentimiento, ese dolor que le atraviesa el alma y como expresa su odio y frustración. Te muestra un personaje que se supone es villano, pero sientes simpatía por él al ver por lo que ha pasado, aunque no justifica su accionar. Aún así, lo adoro. No les voy a mentir, cuando se le confesó a Gene, grite like a crazy AJJAJAJAJ pero es que, en mi mente retorcida les veía potencial JAJAJAJJAJA.

What I loved about how Nubsib reacted is that he just protected Gene straight away and didn't make him feel guilty afterwards and also didn't misunderstand the situation cause he trusts Gene (cause I've seen toxic jelousy so much portrayed in series and is so annoying to see main leads fighting cause of a misunderstanding)

I KNEW IT!!!!! AOEY LIKES GENE!!!!!! during the script reading, aoey smiled at gene, so i was confused when he said he liked nubsib. wow, ima genius.

Aoey: Nobody cares about me! Mohk: I care about you! Aoey: No thank you. I don't want it.

Aoey rejects Mhok because Mhok keeps trying to tell him what to do wirh his life, even if for his own good. Pretty sure that was also the reason he spied on Aoey's relationship plus having feelings for him. But telling the jealous sister who then blabbed it to the dad was wgat ruined Mhoks chances. Aoey feels Mhok sided with his screwed up family to screw up his life. And Mhok doesnt even realise what he did was wrong. Even when confessing, he still tries to tell Aoey to "be good and behave" whatever that means. No wonder Aoey rejects Mhok who cannot accept him for who he is. As for the twist, was spoiled on it from the first episode. So not particularly shocked. But its interesting to see how it was portrayed. Bruce owned this segment!

So all this time, Nubsib or Mohk did not out Aoey, OR his feelings towards him to Gene. And i really respect that! That's actually really cool

It was 1 year ago…such a lagendary BL series i was so in love watching this while lockdown !!! 😭😭😭🫣😓🥶

Aoey had gone through so much that he don't even care about himself anymore. He is hurting himself. He is wrong but I still can feel his pain. It's like if I'm bad even after trying so hard then I'll be bad intentionally now.

HOW does one reject Mhok he's literally flawless

I know Aeoy is the "bad guy" here but he is my personal favorite. His character has the most depth and I find him heartbreaking. Also the actor is amazing.
