Absolutely banging video, these extreme battery drain tests show how most people would use their phones OUTSIDE of their home, on data. But I'd love a normal battery drain test if possible, with wifi. To gauge how these phones handle battery on wifi at home because that's what they are usually most optimized for. Amazing job as always, keep up the good work boss!

I disagree that he should do a WiFi-only test. They take way too much time. With the sim-only test results, you can roughly extrapolate battery endurance to be around 1.5 times better when running on WiFi.

@@kennetha6594 I understand but most phone companies optimize phones for wifi usage so there will be vast differences between data and wifi battery times. Look at any other battery test and you'll see

I have the S24 Plus Exynos here in the UK. I get just over 8 hours of screen-on time (SOT) on 4G only, so it's not too bad.

I have warned Exynos buyers that the chip is poor and even worse when doing intensive tests like this. The Exynos modem is years behind the latest from Qualcomm, and if the Lover of Tech could get a 5G connection it would perform even worse. The take for Exynos is that it gets much hotter (wait for a hot summer), is less performant for many intensive tasks, and battery life is noticeably much worse. I would avoid the S24+ and S24 Exynos versions (the SD8G3 performs much better, in other tests I have seen). I have seen many YT creators saying there is no difference or just minor and it does surprise me. I suspect that is due to not fully testing like this hardcore regime. The problem with benchmarks is that Samsung is no fool and knows how to make them look good. Only real tests like this can show the reality. Obviously, if you are a casual user, the Exynos, although inferior, will not perform as desperately bad as it did here. The OnePlus highlights the improvement we have seen with many rivals to Samsung and Apple and, sadly, the US is so anti-China that other Chinese OEMs are reluctant to risk the US in case they are canceled, like Huawei. Rather than an oligopoly we would see a much more consumer-friendly market. My last take is that Dimensity has moved ahead of Exynos in flagship chips and closing in on Snapdragon.

The OnePlus runs on 8gen2. Even with its larger battery, I think the last gen Snapdragon is more efficient than 8gen3. Exynos is a joke!

Hi Lover of tech! Thx for your efforts, this comparisons are insane! ❤ But, i would like to point something... Its strange than the S24+ lasted less in terms of battery life than the s24 (wich has a small battery). I checked both tests, twice... 😮 Also, I would like to make a suggestion: Could you estimated the results of the S24+ if this phone had a 5500 mah battery? Cause seems than S24+ has the worst battery life ever, in comparison the other two, but it has 500-600 mah less, so... 🤔 Finally, exynos is behind the competition, and i know cause i have and S24+ with it. But, at the end, my phone last 1 day and a half with 6 hours of screen on time, doing similar usage than you show at your vídeos. So, not bad at all, but could be better... Cheers!

yeah it can be better cuz my oneplus 12 is a 2 day phone, also, I expected s24 plus to have much bigger battery than the s24 which isn't the case, for a phone with a 6.7 inch screen, I expect at least 5200 mah.

@@4fgaming925 Totally agree. My problem with the OnePlus 12 is: I hate curved displays... My last phone was an Oppo, just an excellent device. But, I think One UI has more features than Color OS, especially if we talk about routines and Good Lock. And yeah, I miss fast charging a lot... 🥲 I think Samsung has to improve they battery department. I don't regret my choice, but I've to confess than little jealous of OnePlus excellent battery life...🤪 Thx for share your experience and enjoy your purchase! Take care!

@@casuarius6576 oh come on, it also heats a lot... also s24 plus has 4880 mah and others have 5300 or 400, still s24 + has almost half the battery life and also heats a little bit during normal day to day tasks, its not even equal, and definitely not ahead of the competition.

@@adityapatil6185bro you just copying and pastting, it’s bad I use the 24plus exynos and it gets hot so so hot and once it does the battery drains faster and unlike the snapdragon that the processor is better, I’m thinking of upgrading to the 24 ultra just because of the chip Samsung knew what they where doing, not not even china has the exynos chip

@@Games-wh7ey nope, the S24 SD also gets hot, is mostly to the chipset, 8 gen 3 and the Exynos 2400 get hotter than the last 8 gen 2. China hasn't the Exynos chipset thanks to Huawei and its patenting/licences

@salvatoredemasi9459 this time it's not so much about the fabrication, as it does much better on wifi. It's the inefficient Samsung 5G modem. If it was using a Qualcomm 5G modem, it would probably perform better.

Qualcomm already has such a huge monopoly in the market that they can dictate crazy prices. You can praise their products all day long but the fact is we are all losers in this game because they will keep increasing their prices and soon flagships will be totally unattainable. I mean there is a reason the S24 launch price in the EU dropped by 50 € this year compared to last despite such things as 7 year update support. One can't deny that Samsung's modems are inferior but honestly, I'm glad to see them competing.

Just the aesthetics and they did claim that they added some optimization for that one game but I would take that with a grain of salt. And I don't think it gets as many fingerprints because the back has that decorative stuff on it not just a straight glossy back.

@@4fgaming925 The Oneplus 12R with the 8 gen 2 beat the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra, by the same logic the Qualcomm 8 gen 3 is bad, despite these two models having the same battery capacity, and the S24+ with the Exynos 2400 has less capacity.,
