I feel like Stellas canon design gives of a spoiled princess vibe, with the big poffy dress and the long hair and gold crown. This redesign while still keeping somewhat true to the original elements of the design gives of a much more dangerous vibe. "I murderd my husband by putting poison in his tea and no one suspects a thing" is the best way i can describe it. Overall great design! :)

To be honest, I never had an issue with Stella's design, I even kinda liked it. But after seeing yours... I just won't be able to get over it, it's absolutely gorgeous. If she actually looked like this she'd become my favourite character from the series.

Yeah Helluva Boss is kinda feeling...Miraculous-y in the way episodes feel out of order 😅 But while it should've happened in S1, I'm still giving them a chance to give some Millie and Loona backstory/centered episodes only because Viv said it would happen in S2. So I'm gonna take her word 🤣

The problem I had Stella being this over the top just plain evil mean character (which I also love those characters) is that every other charac in HB was made to be deeper than their quirks at the surface so to have her as "she's just evil" is like ordering a very fancy meal and they serve it with normal soda, it doesn't fit well. (Specially since she's supposed to be a crucial part in Stolas character)

I never hated Stella’s original design but I never particularly liked it either. She just- was. THIS thought. THIS ruined it for me. I’ve turned on notifications because I’m so excited for the rest of the family, I’m IN LOVE with this design. It’s SOOOOOO FANTASTIC. She’s SO pretty. Exactly what her character needed, and I didn’t even realize it. Absolutely beautiful!

One of the things that I most hate about Helluva, is that they want to excuse cheating at ''she was toxic'' or ''she dont even love him'' like...bro? cheat is still a cheat If your partner is toxic, at least try to separate from them, Stolas is probaly one of the most powrful demons on hell, and he didnt even stand up for himself also, Loved the redesigns ^^

I’ve honestly never been a big fan of Stella’s design. It always felt very… first drafty. But I love what you did here! The combo of pinks, blacks and whites work so well together and she has a much stronger silhouette now. Excited to see how you tackle Stolas!

I think you did well with the dress because Stella leans more into her swan heritage appearance-wise, but her dress kinda gives her a subtle peacock tail, which is good for keeping her connected with her roots.

So I've practiced Stella's voice lines a lot And I mean "a lot" in the context of my friends honestly think I'm lip syncing So imagining her voice to the new design works so well! Her register is mid tier, like a regal alto Her accent makes it all the more blue blood, but she has the raspiness about it Now if u don't look at the design of the character and just imagine the voice, the face I see is ur redesign Let's be honest it's just a more regal and graceful figure than the original Her new clothes look fancy and expensive, and that fits since one of her lines during the anniversary party was "thank f**k we're rich, could you imagine if we didn't have money?" It's just downright amazing and I cannot wait to see the designs u come up with for the dramatic owl Twink and the emo nightmare!

Speaking on the Stella being a dove, that would be absolutely genius! Doves are associated with magicians and Stola is very magical, he even has a top hat! Additionally, doves are bred to have very specific exaggerated traits like giant neck fluff, curly feathers, or long feet feathers! Her swan design is absolutely gorgeous tho! Amazing job

I love the head design as soon as it popped up. The dress is beautiful and is very royal looking. The long neck changes so much of the character just on first impression.

In regards to Stella being a villain isn’t a problem If she wasn’t a woman I’m noticing that all the female characters get the short end of the stick in comparison of the male villains. Striker, Fizz and Ozzie have agency and importance and Verosika and Stella are just bitches to the main male leads. Even velvette gets the short end of stick since Vox and Val are fan/crew favorites and they feel like the big baddies and velvette is just there because they need a girl, I’m not a feminist lol but i couldn’t help but notice it’s a recurring problem

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love the way you redesigned Stella. She's not only stunningly beautiful but she definitely looks like she can defend herself and/or tear someone apart. I also love that if you were to rewrite their stories that Stolas and Stella would've been arranged later on after coming of age. The childhood arrange just doesn't sit well with me. Plus, I enjoy coming of age themes at times and we possibly could've seen more of her and Stolas interacting in their beginning of the marriage years. And yeah, I'm not fond of the love at first sight thing with him and Blitzo because I like to have more character development before love is introduced, but that's just me. Anyways, I've rambled enough. I'm really looking forward to your next video. 😁

Okay, I LOVE Stolas’ design (it is, in fact, my favorite) and Octavia’s is adorable (she’s such a cutie). But Stella is... eh. He design is honestly kinda one-note. Just like her! (So is it actually good character design? (jk)) so I’m looking forward to the redesign! (Also, Stella reminds me more of a dove)

I agree with ur point about villains for sure. I also think they are better when they are less sympathetic. There's a difference between making characters sympathetic and humanizing them Edit: When I say humanizing, i mean showing that the villain has weaknesses and fears that gives them layers. You can even have them make genuine connections and bonds with other characters, you can definitely do that while still making them unapologetically evil.

Honestly I can agree on the start of season 2. I feel like it went too fast for my liking! I was confused by the jumping around of the scenes, and definitely confused with Blitzo and Stolas and how they interacted within the first episode. Like, what happened at Ozzie’s? Did they just…Forget about it? Push it aside for later? Also, I thought Stella was an owl! I didn’t know she was suppose to be a swan…Peacock hybrid? I never saw it in her design and saw more a snowy like owl? I definetly love your design much more! Shows the more elegant, Swan side of her. Her pose and colors are so good! I especially love the dress!

Not gonna lie, I thought Stella was also an owl; I never got peacock vibes from her or her brother’s OG designs. And wasn’t even because of the coloring. If you held a gun to my head and said, “Guess anything but owl,” I’d be dead. Viv has got to experiment with more body types and outfit silhouettes. All of her main characters have either got spindly, thin bodies or hourglasses. The only exception has been Millie who’s pear shaped. It just sucks because the background character sheets show way more diversity. Like, it’s YOUR show Viv! Go all out!!

I love the idea of stella so much! You really knocked it out of the park with her finally looking more royal and high class than her actual design in the show. One thing I gotta hand to you though is you always make your redesigns look diverse and interesting to the eye, something vivziepop struggles with a lot most of the time. The aspect of the demons eye colours coming down to reds and blacks all the time really hit home how often vivziepop uses reds and pinks and oranges in her designs, she rarely steps outside of her preferred colours. so all in all, a really good redesign. one of ,if not my favourite of yours by now. Stellas hair, her eyes, her dress it all really screams royalty. very very good job as always!! I cannot wait for your stolas design and to see ovtavia ^^ keep up the good work, rest inbetween and a happy new year. stay safe and healthy

I’d where that dress it’s so beautiful. Although I too enjoy characters who are just evil for the sake of evil for Stella I am a bit disappointed that it looks like she put no effort into trying to at least be civil with Stolas. I was hoping she would have tried to get along but as the years went by the fact that they both didn’t love each other and had to keep up appearances that they did love each other was weighing on her (and Stolas as well). And that her rage was more subdued and outside of the public eye until Stolas cheated on her. It always bothered me that Stella was so public about her hatred towards Stolas you’d think that someone who loved being a royal and was from a lower rank wouldn’t do or say things in public that might put that status at risk. I also agree with you on how annoying the “childhood love at first sight” is just so dumb I wish writers would stop relying on it. I also agree that it would have been better if the arrange marriage was decided when Stolas was at least a young adult and Stella was chosen because Stolas didn’t want to choose a wife. It would have added more fuel to Stella’s rage in a more logical way. And I guess that’s why I don’t really like Stella that much. I don’t need her to be sympathetic I just need her motivations and actions make sense as she’s kinda all over the place with no real direction. Anyway can’t wait to see the rest of the family’s redesigns.

BRO! THOUGHT IDEA going with the coming of age ceremony what if Stolas had a huge birthday and invited Blitzøs circus as entertainment. Stolas gets stuck in engagement and has a bachelor party where he chose the circus to be the entertainment again. Stolas gets drunk and sleeps with Blitz but gets embarrassed and confused everytime he sees Blitz bc he was drunk The transactional thing seems really iffy. I see where Stolas actually likes Blitz and seems romantically and not just sexually into him. But it starting with transactional sex into a romance feels like a ya0i plot (FYI just for sharing purposes ya0i is japanese gay romance focusing on mainly sex. BL is more Romance as in romance)

Bro I LOVE this redesign! She looks so much more regal and it fits her personality quite well. I'm gonna be honest and share my opinion About Stella. I honestly hate her both because of her actions but also how she's written. Let's just ignore the fact that they were clearly setting up Stella to be a more complex character in the beginning and just focus on how she's being written currently. She still sucks lol. The writing for her is so lazy. She's cartoonishly evil, and not even in a fun way. It personality makes it impossible for me to take her seriously. I'd be fine with it if they actually did something Interesting with it, but no. She's so boring. She's not even a threatening villain at all. I'm not asking for her to be sympathetic either. I Just want her to he an actually interesting character. But Stella is barely a character at all. She's a plot device who is just there to cause drama and move Stolas's plot forward. That's pretty much all she is. She isn't interesting in any way.

Love your redesign! Although (just rambling here) I like that they were an arranged child marriage more from a narrative standpoint because it gives this air of helplessness to their marriage. Like this was always something hanging over them since they were kids and easily helps foster the resentment and hatred Stella has for Stolas.

I adore this redesign!! The “feathers” or more feathered out look of the bottom part of the dress give it so much “I’m here, I’m cute, and I deserve your attention”, but without them the dress would be really sleek and cunning/strict/rude feeling. Idk if it was on purpose but I feel like that could be used as a dramatic flair for her, like the bottom flaring out when fighting Stolas, swaying lightly on parties and such. In the same breath tho, image a shot of her sitting in the dark and it’s more hidden, it would immediately change the vibe, make her look older even. All in all; wonderful design!! I’m patiently waiting on part two
