Bali' clothes are Resort Fashion. They only perfect in Bali or beaches in Lombok, Labuan Bajo etc. You might feel out of place if you wear them in Jakarta and other big cities.

While you in jakarta, you should visit bogor city. Might take an hour by train...enjoy the national botanical garden right next to presidential palace. Than go to puncak ,the most famous high and green area in bogor. And not to forget...ton of delicious traditional street food ☺️

You should try J.CO coffee & donuts, Janet. It's an Indonesian franchise. And I dont know why there are so many foreigners love J.CO more than Starbuck, I think the donuts nailed them. Haha Oh yeah, btw what local and foreign vloggers rarely do in Jakarta are the islands north of Jakarta, called "Pulau Seribu" (the thousand islands). You can stay in a bungalow in the middle of the sea. Search for info first on google before going there So, if you still in Jakarta and missed beach or little island atmosphere, go to Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu) by boat, they are located off the north coast of Jakarta , and the territory still belongs to the city of Jakarta, part of North Jakarta. It's means you still in Jakarta. This is what most people forget, even by Jakartans, that Jakarta has many islands and you don't have to go to Bali. FYI, did you know, Jakarta is a city that has the MOST MALLS and plazas in the planet. There are more than 140 malls in Jakarta alone, not all of Indonesia. If you need information about the names of malls throughout Jakarta, go to Wikipedia, look for "the list of malls in Jakarta". Have a nice shopping :)

Taman Anggrek is my childhood mall, opened in the 90s with a cool ice rink inside the mall. Sadly, the mall is dying as newer malls with modern design are popping up. Check out Grand Indonesia, Pacific Place, Plaza Indonesia, Plaza Senayan, Senayan City and the latest addition, Ashta District 8, very happening mall with gram'able spot.
