I agree! Man! I hadn't heard of him till a few days ago (believe that or not), when I happened upon the video of them recording this song. He blew me away. I immediately ordered the CD...and every time I listen, I am again and again captivated, moved and inspired!

nice voices, the arrangement pretty much bastardized the song and it's intent. sondheim's music is often very specific, usually not conducive to self indulgent interpretations. watch him teach a singer on how to sing "send in the clowns".

It pains me to see her humiliate herself like this. The best white singer of all time has lost her voice. It's natural, she's not 20 any more, but it's disrespectful to her own past and she must stop singing immediately. Patrick Wilson obviously stole the show but he shouldn't have.
