Zach's adventure began 7 years ago in an RV, and now he's on his third van, a high-top cargo van that he absolutely adores. Originally from Beverly Hills, Zach sought a change in his life to experience a more authentic and fulfilling existence.Currently, he calls a 1999 Ford E-350 Cargo van his full-time home, a vehicle that was ingeniously converted from a wheelchair-accessible van to a gorgeous rustic beach house on wheels!

I absolutely LOVE THIS VAN!! There’s nothing that I don’t love about his van. I just wish I could have seen more of how he did the placement and his water, appliances and how he hooked up his water system, etc.

This guy is so warm and genuine. He has one of the nicest most realistic home van that I’ve ever seen and didn’t have to spend a ton of money. It is possible to do a van build out on up cycled and recycled material. You don’t have to spend a mortgage to decorate your van. This van is very stylish and elegant. It’s definitely a beach vibe.

First of all, this is a "Feel Good Home." I've watched so many of Bob's videos, and the Tiny House explosion yadda yadda. I'm left with several thoughts, from "That's nice to oh no they didnt." Truly, and this is no BS, Zach's home makes me feel like I've been somewhere. What an incredibly creative eye Zach has. Thanks, gentlemen, you've made my day.

There is something about Zach...a Geoorge Hamilton, kind of guy! Dresses snazzy, loves his Boho Beach vibe...the only thing missing...a little Chihuahua😊. I loved the old chair and all the little attachments to the door. The green roof gives an oasis type feel and, with small lights, in-between, must feel magical, at night. Don't knock fake plants and flowers. I use them myself. Getting the right ones, matters. Great job featuring this unique interior. Cheers from Canada.

Hey, nothing wrong with faux plants these days; they are quite realistic. I have a lot of them in my little trailer -- but then I saw the ivy & daisy ceiling inside Zach's van! Puts my little collection to shame LOL. Definitely adds to the vibe. The only thing I missed was seeing a "sink" for dishwashing. I envision an old white enameled metal dishpan that he can place on the little tabletop. 🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿

the style, aesthetics, and creativity are impressive. Don't normally associate a counterculture rebel with having flair. Being on the road, you can meet a lot of new people who just have first appearances to judge you by. Having put some thought into themes, decoration, and art communicates a positive message quickly.

I love this van. I too love color, texture, and greenery and strive to make my van like a home not a van. Being cozy and not just functional or industrial in decorating is important! People need to think outside the box (literally). The easiest way to do this is to use unexpected items that do one function and make them do something entirely different. I saw a quote years ago in Architectural Digest that suggested that the key to decorating is to own nothing that is not either useful or beautiful.

Wow! Zach is so thought FULL is his approach to a beautiful making of a home! I thought that I'd exit this video, given my prioritizing of functionality, though. But, it just came across so genuinely as a real home , and without any gaudy fussiness, (or dust collection!) I could hear Bob's similar reaction. Cool idea with chest on back door and love the heart shape window. Why my parents took us camping most weekends with 4 children. They loved the people we met and thought it was wonderful for us children. Went from Army tent, to pop up to pull behind. Now, my family camps for 30 years when we can all over and in all different types of rv's, tents, cabins...we enjoy the family time. I think its so freeing and true living to camp and take care of a small space and not worry about big boring chores every week/ weekend or with maintaining a big home.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I am impressed. I wanted to paint the inside of my van to bring the outside in, and this puts the idea on a whole new level. To be fair, I never thought about putting the plants on the ceiling. I was always going to paint that, too, so I don't know if I would have ever though of this idea. But it is truly such a beautiful space. I knew when Bob said it was special he meant it, and boy did he deliver. Great work, Zach!

This is so refreshing. I get tired of people trying to show off there perfect vans that cost the same as a house. I like it all but this iOS way cooler than the Jane and Joe that dropped $100k on their van. I can only imagine how cool vans are going to look in the years to come now that there is so much inspiring designs on the net. I like homemade DIY recycle. I want to see how amazing someone can make a van with almost no cost. There should be a contest, all you’re aloud to buy is hardware…GO. Like that book the red paper clip that I never read but am aware of.

You can tell Zach has been working years in high-end furniture and décor in Beverly Hills. Makes me think of the movie "Private Benjamin" where Goldie Hawn rejects the gift ottoman, because it is the wrong "mushroom" color and she wanted casters. LOL, so I know why Zach has tassels in his van.

I've done a kaleidoscope of job types in my history from a young age for the same reason. I basically worked state school jobs as my focused retirement builder and that schedule allowed me to work summer and breaks to work misc experiences. Along the way I raised 2 boys mostly as a single mom as well. Easy peezy and blessed. Now I'm a single Grama and am looking forward to set up a van or truck, I haven't got a vehicle right now. 😊
