EXACTLY. The level of intensity of the music playing has to match the intensity of the combat, and every dnd combat song on youtube it's supossed to be played as you fight tiamat to save the universe. It's so anoying.

Yessss there needs to be more just normal combat music. Everything seems to always be for big epic battles and bosses. I need more for my generic pack of goblins than just ambush all the time. This one is awesome

Absolutely! This is one of my biggest issues when haunting for music. I really spend a lot of hours searching and remembering videogame background music for this purpose to fit my encounters.

YES! Not every battle is against a giant creature to save the world. Sometimes we are just contrabanding a wirmling red dragon in a carriage and it gets stolen by a group a goblins in the mountains And thats ok

I know this music would work great for a low level encounter, but I can also imagine would be *amazing* for that moment in a jailbreak session where the guards notice their prisoner is missing, but still have no idea where the party is yet At first, it's just a single guard, shouting "She's escaped! Come quick, she's escaped!" But soon after, search parties of 3 begin to form, equipped with everything their armory had to offer and ready for a fight. As they begin scouring the perimeter, several more guards scramble to return to their watch tower posts before the warden notices. (They _may_ have been slacking off a bit 😅). Meanwhile the convict, eager to finally regain her freedom, congratulates the party. "Great job breaking me out guys! Now, what's the escape plan?" _awkward silence_ "You *_do_* have a plan, right?" "...right?"

In two days I am starting a campaign, and I was about to use one of your epic combat songs for the first fight. I wanted something for starters, but its ok, the players will get used to always having epic music AND THEN YOU LAUNCHED THIS LIKE YESTERDAY AND MADE MY CAMPAIGN'S FIRST FIGHT MUCH BETTER

This is so cool! We used this song today for a giant chess battle in a dungeon, that's fit perfectly because it's not like a epic boss, but there are danger if we fail, so it's a tense situation but not too much to put a epic battle song.

I love this. Most combat music is just to epic for my games. My characters fight a wolf or get mugged by a bandit. There is no need for duel of fates music

I am also grateful for this style of combat music. More simplistic and not so epic (though that stuff is great).This would also do well as a chase scenario, whether the party is chasing or being chased. A pleasant surprise amidst us in the middle of a floor remodel, long work hours and still trying to squeeze in a D&D session. Thank you Bardify!

Holy shit this slaps. This is the type of combat music I crave. Most fantasy fight music is too grandiose or serious for the average d&d fight IMO. Give me fun, jazzy rumble music and make them 1 hour loops while you're at it.

This reminds me so much of music from the Ratchet & Clank series! I love it!!! I love the lack of intensity and over the top clashes. Would be perfect for traversing treacherous terrain as well: scaling a mountain, a raging river, or even sneaking through a heavily manned fort.

Thank you so much, going to use that in my next session tomorrow. Random encounters on the world map are mostly easy or medium, epic fighting music doesn't really fit that. Used Ambush so far but will switch to this for low level random combat

Everyone's already said it but this is such an underutilized music style for D&D combat. Way too much stuff out there sounds like my lvl 3 players are fighting god when in fact they're getting killed by a moose or something xD

Not totally relevant to this video. But I want to say thank you. Your music went amazingly in my last session, and elevated it in ways I can not express enough gratitude for. I've been watching probably to many DND shows/live plays, and it truly made me feel like I was entering next sphere of power as a gm for my players. 16 years of playing and it was truly amazing feeling

Very good, - my players were really excited, but just a little too repetitive with the very distinct melody and same rhythm to keep it going for more than one cycle. I would love something very similar with a little more variation! Keep up the good work!
