I am young prodigal mage who just got back from exploration. Exhausted and tired, I decided to go to my usual tavern and have a glass of wine. As I leisurely enjoy my time at the tavern, I am also studying and working on deciphering an ancient text in a book (perhaps an ancient language from a forgotten period of this world's history?) Which I had found during my exploration expedition of an undiscovered labyrinth whilst in the middle of a deep and thick uncharted forest.

Had an encounter I used this for where the party was kidnapped in their sleep by a coven of hags, who split them up and hid them in different rooms of their spacially distorted hut. One of them woke up and noticed the rest of their crew was gone, and had to sneakily find the rest of their party so they could escape.

using this for a boss fight where the gimmick is that the monster acts like the host of a weird gameshow and has a microphone and everything

I played this for my party when they were fighting Merfolk who were trying to climb aboard their ship. Homebrewed some cannons that deal 5d20 damage on hit, so seeing Merfolk with 20 hp get obliterated by cannonfire to this track was very satisfying.
