Welcome to Coffee Walk Ep. 134!
This has been one wild winter weather week for Dallas AKA Dallaska (and the entire state of Texas). Our prayers go out to all of the family's so devastatingly affected by these Winter storms. It was definitely a challenging one pulling this Coffee Walk off in 1 degree temps, but we did it! We also got to film in our brand new Collins Classics location- which isn't 100% done yet, but we figured we'd at least give you guys a sneak peek!

I purchased a 1988 Colorado Red 4.0 5 speed Jeep Comanche Pioneer long box 4x4 brand new. I ran the wheels off that thing. Ran it hard and put up wet. It was one of my favorite vehicles of all that I have owned. It was a tough great running truck. And also quite light weight!

bought my '89 YJ new and still drive it, during huge snow storm (Canada) my car got stuck several times so stopped at dearlership on way home - true story, no key locks on 89 1/2 doors either, has the little skirts on inside of lower tub (I knew what you were talking about), seats have the jeep watermark in them, I put Mopar 4L MPI kit on the 4.2L around year 2000 and woke that engine up, for those curious the 4.2L is 4L's dad from the 70's so parts interchange as in a 4L "stroker" uses a 4.2L crank ... luv the YJ - that MJ is looking good too

Who knew my sister-in-law's Comanche would be considered "rare" now from way back in 1988? Enjoyed the information overload! Haha. No, she doesn't have it anymore and even if she did, it would be well over 200k miles as that's where it was when she sold it in the mid 2000's.

I saw a Golden Eagle Jeep at the gas station a while back. I told the guy it was a nice Jeep. He told me it had been in his family since new and he just drives it when he's in town.

He had a triple white (white soft top with half doors, white Jeep, white steel wheel) on that same tan interior with those exact seats. Other than that color, that YJ really reminds me of being a kid. I’ve owned ten jeeps, 4 or 5 have been a YJ. Fantastic time capsule of a YJ you have

Cool stuff. In ‘87, I bought one of the first new “Wranglers” to hit the lot at Love Ford, on Inwood at Lemon, in Dallas. It was white with black trim, black interior and black hard top. I had black “running boards” added by the dealer, to carry the front fender flares to the rear flares. It also had the radio delete (I added one later), factory air, six speed, etc. A years later, I put a Bestop Soft Top on it, and stored the hard top. I ended up driving on most weekends when we went out to our favorite places to party Adairs/Stans/Late Night/Clearview. I got to know lots of people because of that Jeep. Good times.

This brings back some memories. I had a 88 yj, black with gray soft top half doors and the denim black and gray seats. 4.2l carbed, 5 speed (stupid BA10/5) and factory center console, power brakes, power steering. It only had 23k on it in 2004 when it got T boned. Also had a 90 comanche eliminator, red with factory buckets 4x2 4.0l 5 speed (again with the BA 10/5 that I swapped for a AX-15(only work other than oil changes ever done to it)) no A/C and or radio (original owner never installed 1 and neither did I). Bought it in 2000 and drove it for 9 years, truck had 390K on it when the pinion bearing locked up and launched the drive shaft through the bed. Man the Jeep bug has been bothering me lately, guess it time sell a cummins and to get serious about buying.
